Hello, I'm playing RB51 (15552) Frankfurt to Wachtersbach from Journey Mode (the 114 chapter). I'm actually driving the cab car, which is possible; the services towards Frankfurt cannot be done, as the 114's brakes don't work. I'm at signal R630, but there are absolutely no trains in sight on my side. There's an RE50 now stopped behind me, but nothing ahead. And I'm already 6 minutes late for my second to last stop. Can anyone confirm this is an issue, or if you've been able to complete the service? Thanks.
I was able to complete the service on the second attempt. I think the deadlock on my first run was caused by me leaving a station early. On a side note: the problem with the 114 is not the train itself. On the Pull! scenario, the 114's air brakes do not work because it is attached to a consist where the cab car has the brake key inserted. Kudos to EXE Sasser who found this, see this post. In another service, RE50 (4507) Fulda to Frankfurt @ 7:05am (which is also part of the Regio Rider chapter of the Journey), the locomotive is attached to a consist having a cab car and another locomotive. The air brakes do not work because of that trailing locomotive. See the details here.
I think the issue being reported by myself to the TSW support may have been too late. Props to those who also have had the issue I had in said scenario, but I have reported it, and was expecting it to be fixed with the update that just dropped.
