Route Modern Day Gwe

    As the title suggests; the Great Western Express route, but set in the modern day, with OHLE and the modern rolling stock.

    I suppose you haven't heard of the remaster?

    It's as close as we'll get for the foreseeable future.

    Yeah I have, apparently that's going to be the same time period though.

    Nope. Will have 387’s and 375s in unbranded GWR livery and Heathrow.

    Would rather see the line recreated in the late 70’s or early 80’s with classic diesel power and Paxman HST’s.

    From the early 1970s to the early 1990s, this route had so much more variety as well as a better layout of trackwork. If at any point we get a different version of the route, it absolutely must include ALL of the Thames Valley branches for passenger and freight operations maybe also extended to Newbury and Oxford. Anything less would surely be a travesty.
