Loco 1972 Stock Needed Updates

1. a working cab door: realistically u would get onto the train via the cab door and not the passenger doors
2. New Journeys - Silver 1972 Stock upgrades: as being a oldie livery we should have got a new interior and route blinds for it
   
3. the middle cabs: i think this was used for shunting IRL but please let me know if not

 

There's no cab door on the 72 stock. Unless you mean the centre cab door. It's bugged me since day 1 that it's locked.

 

I know the center cab doors been bugged for a long time and it would be better to have a working version than a locked one (all mods are old and I am on console)

 

I believe the door is locked because of TFL’s agreement about the license, I think it has something to do about safety hence why there’s invisible walls at each stations on the tracks for the underground section.

It sounds weird I agree as we can bypass invisible walls with the 38 stock for exemple. I think the biggest update it needs is new sounds as the current ones are from the Class 455, 72 stock is still running at the moment so it’s a great opportunity to upgrade the sounds like they did for the BR182 and why not updating the route as well with TOD4.

I agree, we do need to update the 72 stock. While doing it you might aswell remaster it.

 

Exactly it’s a bit odd to have an old livery with a current era interior and destination boards. It’s been mentioned many times to DTG back in the days but hey, you know the rest…

 

3+4 going north & 4+3 going south on the real world.

 

Yeah this is one thing that has always bugged me since release, the trains are the wrong way round!

 

Also the offside droplight interlock is bugged which means you can motor without operating the cutout switch, and the saloon lights annoyingly turn off when you take out the control key, when in reality they should stay on.
