Both under- and over-; underground through central London, surfaces at Harrow & Wealdstone and uses the Overground tracks from there to Queen's Park.

Style? Lots of station stops VERY close together, tight timing, have to drive "rough" to keep on schedule.

It starts over then goes underground and ends up where you see it in wcml.
It's old and though when it came out it was well done.
I tried it and got a refund, issues as follows, the underground exits are not modelled,no door sounds except beeper .
No announcements, even the mind the gap.
Sound has no reverb in the tunnels.
If you press the E button by accident, you'll wind up on the roof, with no way of getting back in.
The good; the full Bakerloo route is modelled start to finish, the 72 stock is nice to drive once you get used to it.Timetable is okay.
Bought a load of DLC, this one is the only refund I got.
    Needs a remaster, though I don't think it'll happen.
I love the Bakerloo in real life and the 72 stock, this felt lifeless by comparison.

It's split quite evenly between surface and tunnel sections, there's some variety in timetable destinations and there are plenty of depot moves. It has one of the busiest timetables in the game, if you delay your train for just two minutes you can look back and see the next service behind your train waiting at a red signal. The timetable can be hard as solicitr mentioned but my advice is just ignore the departure times, aim to spend 10 seconds dwelling at the quieter stations and 30 seconds at the major interchanges, don't bother waiting for departure time before setting off, that way you'll always be on time. It's also important to constantly check the signals on this route, particularly in the tunnel sections or you'll find yourself having a SPAD rather quickly.

Btw, you got those 2 the wrong way round. It surfaces as Queen's Park and runs on the LO tracks to Harrow and Wealdstone. There's also the London Road depot which is above ground in central London.

Personally not my favourite route, and would've personally preferred to see one of the sub surface LU routes instead, but it can be quite a nice drive, and the underground stations have some especially nice attention to detail. And the since the new timetable came for the route, it's been even better.

But yeah, to answer the question about whether it's mostly under or above ground, I'd say it's roughly a 50/50 split.

Best price for this route is when you find a TSW2 key for your platform, as it's likely very cheap, and you also get Sand Patch Grade and Koln Aachen, two great routes.

This is actually why it's my favourite route in TSW, I have to commend DTG for choosing to include one of the 'deep level' tube lines in the sim, simply because no other train sim has done it before. WOS3 and JT's Met Line are all sub-surface routes, DTG is the first developer to dare to recreate one of the deep level lines AFAIK.

Fun fact: the original trains on the Baker Street & Waterloo Railway (the 1906 Stock) were built in the USA by American Car & Foundry

The Bakerloo Line is getting an update soon. I would wait for that and see if you like it. In the meantime, you may find some YouTube videos helpful. I recommend this one, since this is what got me into TSW in the first place:

The door sounds are there, but they are quiet and can be missed
It may interest you to know that the issue with the 'E' button is caused by pressing '1' more than once in a row while you are already in first person. It is an issue with all trains and causes the seat to go solid. By pressing another button in between the '1's, you can avoid this.

If you end up pressing '1' more than once in a row, you can crouch and try to walk around to try and fall back into the cab, or press 'CTRL+0' to teleport back to the seat, or use 'CTRL + =' or 'CTRL + -' to switch cabs and get up normally.

DTG Matt said on stream. It's getting an 'update' and that is why there are no route hop points on it. The route hop points are coming in the 'update'.

I put 'update' in quotation marks because I believe it to be a remaster, but the official line is that it is an update that fixes a few bugs.

Please don't get your hopes up for a remaster on my account. Nobody has promised a remaster.

There's actually a lot of history between the London Underground and the USA, Jago Hazzard has a few YouTube videos on the topic if you're interested. www.youtube.com/@JagoHazzard

Ah thanks for the clarification, I too would like to hope it's a remaster as BKL is showing its age in a few areas now, and if not, they owe us a new tube line for TSW5! ;)
