Can someone tell me if you download PlayStation 5 content you also get Ps4 version content if you want it But on xbox series x you get series x only content why is xbox one version not available.
I don’t use my series X much but I’m pretty sure they just become ‘series X/S optimised’ automatically & that’s a Microsoft choice. Personally I wish PS worked the same way, having 2 of everything is a nightmare.
Hey dudders - if you purchase content on the Xbox Store, it should provide you with a license to play the content on any Xbox console, or Microsoft Store (PC). What I don't know is if, for instance, Xbox One content would load onto a Series X, for instance. I imagine you'd get the version optimised for your console. (Sadly there's not a lot we can do about that, if that's the case).
Which content are you talking about? For every title on XBox Store, you have clear icons that tell you which hardware can play that content. For TSW5, it's like JD said: you can play on any XBox console and even on PC.
Microsoft Smart Delivery means if you are playing on a Series X then you will get the Series X version of the game, on Xbox each game is a single product, regardless of console version. Sony don't do the same so you are able to play PS4 games on the PS5 regardless of whether there is a PS5 native version available, on PlayStation each console version is a seperate product, but buying one grants access to the other.
Technically, if you own an XBOX Series S, you are getting the XBOX One S version of the game, Because the Series S is now getting all its route layers cut to match the XBOX One version of the game. If you are a US or German XBOX Series S owner, do not buy the TSW5 Deluxe or Special editions.
