Hello everyone. It occured to me that I've lurked on these forums for years but have never posted. It seemed time to say something, and the main thing that comes to mind is to say thanks. First, thanks to DTG. I bought TSW in 2018 and have played through every iteration of TSW on consoles. As a train enthusiast I was delighted a train sim was available on PS4 - something I never expected to see - and was instantly hooked. I know the games are not perfect - I've had my frustrations with various bugs and shortcomings - but overall it's been a great fun experience. DTG may frustrate us sometimes but they are accessible and very active on here and on YouTube, and I feel they are doing their best to give us an enjoyable product and to help us get the best out of our hobby. I also want to thank Forum members for creating and populating so many helpful threads on here. Whenever I've been stuck with something I've come here first to look for help and to reassure myself that "it's not just me". I've also valued members' recommendations on the multitude of DLCs. Forum posts have helped me spend my money most wisely (e.g Blackpool Branches) and avoid making purchases that I'd surely have regretted (still not touched Fife Circle or MML yet). I'm enjoying TSW 5 so far, and will now retreat back into my shell and return to lurking on the forums! Thanks all. Yoki
TSW is indeed amazing. So many times it has helped me calm down after a long day! It's always nice to read a refreshingly positive post, and one I agree with wholeheartedly! The teams at Dovetail Games put in an extreme amount of love into the game, and that's why I love it.
Thank you both for sharing these really kind words - being able to provide the best TSW experience we can is really what keeps the team motivated, and I will make sure to share this with the internal groups. I look forward to sharing more news of upcoming patches to help improve your routes, as well as new announcements to keep you excited about TSW's future. Have a great weekend! Alex
