Anybody else have an issue where the game pauses for between 0.5-1 second after loading passengers while it updates the next station objective? It's not a big deal, because you're stationary at that point, but it seems to only be these types of objective update that cause a pause. When setting up a cab, for example, they update instanteously. I wondered if it related to distance, but otherwise just curious. Not looking for/expecting a fix, as such.
thats very weird. i haven't had this issue for now but i did have this in tsw 4. i guess its the game processing the next objective.
You don't need what Myron is writing... Very simple under settings -> General -> Save Game -> Turn this off!
Ahh, okay - this makes sense then. I turned the checkpoint feature back on recently, so thanks for clearing that up!
I`m also at work, but pretty sure Jetwash includes a command in his lighting mod. Have a look in the Manual for the Lighting improvements. It contains some lines for the engine.ini, and I am sure it's one of those. From memory, something like ts2.save.CheckpointsEnabled=0
Yes thats the case but i never add this line and maybe thats the reason that i had some hickups earlier! [SystemSettings] ts2.dbg.JourneyChapterLockOverride=1 ts2.save.CheckpointsEnabled=0 ts2.RewardMonitor.ShowLowImpactNotificationsAsFull=0 TimeOfDaySystem.VolumetricCloud.GroundContribution=1
Is this on an HDD or SSD? When I had TSW on a HDD (going back to TSW2 days here), there was often a pause after objectives, and a fairly lengthy one (minutes in some cases) at the end of a service.
Who is gaming on a HDD?! SSD are so standard now days.... If you do please do not! SSD are cheaper or general a HDD isnt in store anymore
I haven't noticed this, and I have save game on (I wouldn't play TSW without save game). But I have an M.2 drive, so maybe that's the difference.
command has already been named above, AND you misspelled "disable"... AAAND Disable=0 would imply it stays enabled. As a wise man once said... People speak because they have something to say, and other people speak because they have to say something.
And this do nothing. I've always disable a save function and still have freezes after every task completion. So ini-lines only.
