Hello forum users, I thought i would like to create this thread to share our predictions for the roadmap Tommorow (or today, depending on when you are seeing this) everyone is free to jot down what they think will be in this roadmap! Here’s my predictions; - TSG New Route Announcement/Teaser - Mannheim - Kaiserslautern More Info! - ATS Route Announcement - Rivet Leven Branch Development Update - DB 420 more Info? - Koln Aachen Timetable Update. - more Updates on the GWE Remaster?
My advice is to not expect any on Mannheim Kaiserslautern route... It was on a 3-6 moths time period we are now 1 moth further in time and there was no screenshot available back then so its cool if its coming but i bed it will not the case. I will bed they will provide information about Köln Aachen and Great Western Expess
Please don't go to the cellar to laugh. A little fun is a must... I'm already aware that this is a third-party creator. There are some pretty serious characters around here again.
Honestly GWE remaster, WCML OS, More info on what’s included in this weeks update and what updates will come in the future is all I’m interested in at the moment
Oh nice i dont get the same level of humor and you put me in a spot like "serious characters"... Very kind ..... Not!
Hi, when will the next (October) roadmap be avalible? my predictions will be more info on GWE but no release date, and possibly some more info about 3rd party stuff, especially Over Sharp with a possible release edate.
I'd be very interested to see if any further statements will be made about the state that WCMLS was released in, and acknowledging it, and if any thorough and substantial updates will be made and what we can expect... Very excited for the ATS route. And hopefully a release date for JTs WCMLOS...
Unreal engine 5 + DLSS 3.0 + DX12 native. All further DLCs with +25% because inflation All previous DLCs fixed Passengers fixed Flickering and stuttering are now history Microsoft buys DTG
Hopefully get some news on the update. GWE remaster is rather exciting, first route I played. Skyhooks freight add ons v1,2 updates for tsw5?,news on the next two freight dlc. Hope there's some news on the Welsh route also, it's got the BML vibe going on. JT WCML release before Christmas? Announcement of Class 91 for ECML; a personal wish. Looking forward to the stream.
My prediction: We will find out that the PC Editor timetable will release as an official patch for PC and Gen 9, or we will get a CD vectron Expert from TSG with the PC Editor timetable. After all, it seems like the creator of this project is not allowed to respond…
ROFLOL… In direct competition, DTG will announce their new US project which is a 1:20 scale ongoing project to offer a rail network covering the entire US of A. In all seriousness, I could take that. Also hope we will get an update on possible release date for the JT WCML Shap. I have £30 burning a hole in my Steam Wallet waiting for that one…
Hoping for some release dates for Shap and GWE Remaster and hopefully some info on Levenmouth, Cargo Line, the ECML Diesel pack and dare I say it, the 104.
Well one thing i like to add is, when will this ancient, nearly 1 year on the roadmap, old Simtrack german loco be revealed??? Its on the roadmap since Simtrack got introduced and i thought the roadmap only contains stuff with a good progress status. Or maybe the even older Class 104????
Hopefully WCML fixes & timetable improvements(hopefully significant enough to convince me to buy it), GWE & JT releases dates & Leven branch/Fife Circle improvements. Most of the above is probably wishful thinking.
Leven add on needs a release date, it's been months since they announced they were going ahead with it. It's a only a 6 mile extension so why has it been such a long wait?
My prediction, for DTG it'll be damage control with an array of upcoming fixes for TSW5 and a pledge to learn lessons, usual stuff we've heard before. For third parties, I think we'll get a provisional date for Leven and WCML north. For the Alan Thompson route... it'll stay exactly where it is with bugger all information because both sides blame each other for no information being shared. Oh and we'll get some more screenshots of GWE remaster.
oh wow I expected the prediction thread to be a week before the roadmap. I think more info on a few existing projects. A big list of the upcoming patches and bugfixes. and not much for new projects announced.
Here are my predict UK 1. more fixes and improvements for WCMLS like off-map destination PIS and suspension for 350 2. More screenshots of GWE remaster and Cardiff City Network (maybe) 3. Update on 3rd party projects like JT's WCML Over Shap, Rivet's Levenmouth link update, Alan Thompson's new route and Skyhook's cargo packs. US 1. Post-released patch for SB. 2.More infos about MBTA Framingham/Worcester line DE 1. More info about Mannheim - Kaiserslautern. 2. Announcement of TSG's new route. JP (maybe) More info about UW's Tadami Line, like which train it would use and which period it would set.
Hopefully they officially announce the KiHa 40 for the Tadami Line, as it has already been showed off by the devs on Twitter. Maybe even a bit more insight info or predictions on when it releases.
Wouldn't the the fife circle have an updated timetable if so wouldn't some lner services be playable? I hope they improve this line it's nice but the timetable makes it quite dead so hopefully we'll hear something about it today
That’s the official line you are so fond of parroting… Personally I am beginning to think it’s dead as a dodo given all we have seen in all this time is a screenshot of the greyscale primitive in a 3D editor. Even the announcement they were having a few issues is some months old and you would have thought by now there would be something tangible to show. Happy to be proved wrong later this evening.
Alan thomson route will get shown and revealed for sure. And maybe news on JT route and a date for release?
Routes aren't revealed on Roadmaps. It'll just be a blurb in the upcoming section. With both sides blaming each other for why there's no new information
Are they not. As I am sure the new JT route was teased one roadmap then revealed in another. Could be wrong idk
If DTG can read a room, it will start off with an apology for the farce of TSW 5. Edit - No they can't, just how they want you to spend more money! Then I'd hope for them to detail the exact confirmed big bug list they are attempting to fix, with expected delivery of said fixes (I'm not talking specific dates, but release windows). I'd then hope for an update on Just Trains, Alan Thomson Sim and any other DLC due in the next few months, to update/tease a bit more. Then I'd like them to announce their surprise (I know there's one waiting in the wings), and then offer it for free for anyone who bought TSW 5 at release, or in the 2 weeks after release as an apology for the issues with performance. Like I have said in previous posts, there's a lot of stuff that DTG need to fix to rebuild customer/fan base loyalty in the coming weeks. They need to stop milking their community for every pound, dollar, euro, or what ever your local currency is, and releasing sub par products and focus on QUALITY over quantity.
Fife Circle Enhancements and Leven Branch update. Rivet have already confirmed Fife Circle will have more fixes to the route. I’m hoping they have went hard on it…. More on Tadami Line. Hopefully a few screenshots.
Not necessarily in the article, but my prediction is that they will mention that there are only so many days left to claim the free TSW5, in the stream, multiple times.
Seems like they’re doing the opposite according to the roadmap update - the time to claim the free starter pack has been extended until early 2025.
I adjust my prediction to be they will continuously mention this in the stream, like a broken record!
It's now made me out to be a liar haha, they are often teased and a few screenshots, but today They have actually announced the route on this roadmap. They don't usually do that so I was surprised. But I'm big enough to admit I'm wrong.
So the free starter pack extended to early next year, in one regard that's excellent news, but then in another way, I'm wondering if it's not selling well.
