I have been holding onto reporting this weird glitch because I thought it was a random occurrence at first but it has been happening over and over again in the past few days and it's been bothering me a lot. So basically, at random times in the Bakerloo line DLC (for Train Sim World 5) upon trying to exit the driver's seat it suddenly has collisions allowing my character to get stuck in the roof. This is very annoying because you are unable to move. The only way to reset is to CTRL+0 back into your seat, but you are pretty much stuck there either way because you can't go elsewhere. This has also happened 2 other times at the Milton Keynes route in the class 350. Normally your character is able to clip through the driver's seat in order to be able to navigate around the cab. When the glitch occurs, the character collides with the chair and blocks you from moving around in the cab, even with enough headspace above you. Please inform me if there is a fix for this or if you are having this issue as well. Thank you.
You should avoid pressing 1 twice in a row, as this makes the driver's seat solid and impassable. If you try to stand up, you will end up with your head in the roof. The bug has been known since TSW 4 release and so far no effort has been made to fix it.
It came about after TSW4 silently introduced the ability to reset your player's head angle by pressing 1 while already in first person, if you were interested. It affects all trains, but it is more noticable in smaller cabs.
So small yet so annoying. I am surprised no one from the development team has made an effort to fix it. I can imagine a lot of people getting pissed off, especially when they progress far in a route and suddenly can't exit the cab. Thanks for the info, nonetheless!
You should however be able to crouch, move sideways and drop back into the cab. Worked for me on Bakerloo.
Sometimes, this works, and sometimes, it doesn't. Not to mention that reaching the Master Key, which is right next to the driver's seat, becomes close to impossible after the glitch occurs.
Another workaround: sit down, press left arrow 2 times. It should move the camera to the key. Then press right arrow two times to go back to the seat.
