I'm having an issue where some scenarios just stop loading/failing to load. The music continues in TSC but the Blue Bar across the bottom the screen just stops moving (I've tried leaving it for 5 - 10 minutes (or even 3+ hours the other nights) - but no joy).

Any tips for debugging this situation?

No tips unless you name a specific scenario. There's thousands of them.

It's a number of different scenarios and different routes (currently I'm trying [HV] 2H11 11:21 Hazel Grove-Manchester Piccadilly on Just Train Midland Mainline), but that's far from the only one

I need at least one for testing. Ok, 2H11.

Which Midland Mainline version? JT Store, Steam?

    Loads for me.

Can you go to Settings > Tools and press Clear Cache, as a first step.

Cheers - I've Tried that. I'm currently trying deleting each consist one by one to see if that fixes it (I have kept a backup)

I've tried a Complete Re-Install of MML - that hasn't fixed it either.

This isn't just a JT MML issue - it's also affecting ATS Chat Moss and ATS TPE Merge. Is there a way to get more debug information out of TSC - to find out what it's attempting to load when it hangs?

Yes. Start "LogMate.exe" in the RailWorks root folder, then run the game. Close it after you have experienced the issue, the .log files can give you a hint where the issue occured.

The Log Mate logs were not helpful - it kept seeming to fail at different times. But I think I have solved this.

The Blueprints.pak file for the 319 was 0 kb (i.e. empty), I deleted the full 319 folder and re-installed it. It's now not empty. While I've not yet tried the specific scenario above, others that were not working, now are.

Glad you're sorted. Looking for zero byte blueprints.paks is a good way to spot errors. In that case, there's something wrong with the assets so TS cannot compile the index cache. Classical cause is two .ap files with overlapping content.
