PS5 Tsw 5……. Digital Display Screens And The R3 Camera Bug Still Remains!

Works well for me on PS5 (on the locos I've tested, most germans). But in the BR 155 we got a little too close, didn't we.

 

Was hoping to see a fix for this in yesterday's update, but alas. Can we expect a fix in the next update?

 

Is there any update on this. I find the TMS On a class 385 completely unusable with the PS5. I am unable to switch saloon lights on. So therefore when operating services the unit is in the dark. I believe there is onboard announcements on this or a class 380 but I haven’t been able to try them because when I select the screen to go into full screen the cursor doesn’t work on whatever you press. I have also found this issue with the class 375 on Sehs.

 

DTG Matt DTG Alex Sorry for tagging, but it has been awfully quiet regarding this issue. Is there an ETA for the fix?

 

Turn on the cursor in hud settings. It won’t let you work them anyhow, it just stop letting you navigate the screen 2 weeks ago. I play on ps5 and have a route that requires the computer to set the train up!? It is shocking especially when the route itself is £29.99.

 

The Scottrail 380 as well, it’s terrible I hope they are on this

 

Class 375 and 700 display screens are still broken till this day on the PS5 and I guess the same for other platforms.

 

My god lads, it seems the further down the line we get with releases, the more bugs are created, whilst none/only some of them are ever fixed. Surely it would make sense to create a small bug fix team to spend a little time laser focused on sorting them? Unfortunately I don't get to see as many Train Sim streams as I used to, so not sure if this has been covered... but didn't there used to be a team that solely worked on bug fixes? Were they disbanded? I know this is counter intuitive, but half the time I can't be bothered reporting bugs as I think what's the point, it'll likely never get fixed. Surely you can't be happy about this?

There are bug fixes often in updates. Unfortunately they just don't often address the largest and most prevalent bugs

 

Update! It the enhancement of the hud screen display, it’s still obvious it’s a bug but if you change it back to classic, in the settings menu. I know it’s not a fix but at least I can use my 380 again! Hope this helps guys.

 

DTG Matt DTG Alex DTG Liam sorry to tag you guys but is there any updates on this. It’s still an ongoing issue and because of this I can’t put the saloon lights on a class 385, I can’t use the TMS on a 375 either. Please fix this. I reported this a while ago but ticket was closed and no resolution.

 

Yeah its still broken, it work on actual softkeys. But if its a touch screen you still cant interact and get the "driver mode" spam on the right side

 

The way things are going, I think we may count ourselves lucky if this is fixed in TSW6...
So far, no acknowledgement by DTG, let alone any info about a fix

One month on, several updates were released, but this problem still isn't solved. All quiet on the western front as far as DTG is concerned... I would re-tag Matt or Adam or .... but honestly, what's the use?

I've asked DTG Harry on the discord channel if there is a fix being worked on for the cab displays not working correctly since a recent patch. Hopefully we will get an answer

I'm not sure. I was asked if the issue was route specific. As far as I'm aware it's any loco with the digital screens.

 

This made me LOL and that shows me that they were oblivious of this issue despite the many forum posts about this

 

I know it's very frustrating when you need to rely on these screens to access certain systems, interior train lights etc. It was working really good but as people have said a recent patch has caused issues.

 

The displays with buttons in the german locos work. The touchscreens in the british locos don't work on PS5..
Class 375, 378, 385, 395, 700, 710 and 801.

Wow.. It's impossible to check without a video..

 

We need TSW7 to fix the Bugs from Tsw2 and so on..

 

So? Is this ever going to get fixed?

A nice and useless boilerplate response from Dovetail. They are already fully aware of this issue.

 

DTG Matt I didn't hear anything about this issue on yesterday's Roadmap stream. What's the latest on this issue? Can we still expect a fix in TSW5, or would it rather be something for TSW6 ?

 

Still not fixed. Maybe for TSW 6 as a new feature …

 

Any news? I realize this is not exactly a game-breaking issue but it is pretty annoying.

 

Digital displays work again on consoles...but only when 'zoomed out'. When you select on option you zoom in and it still doesn't work.
