RSSLO have released their new route today, the Pyhrnbahn from Linz to Selzthal - 110 km. Included are the ÖBB 1116 (Taurus) and the ÖBB 4746 (Desiro ML). https://www.rsslo.com/product/pyhrnbahn/
Just drove it. It’s quite alright. Rsslo routes will never be works of beauty, but i enjoyed it, and in time it will have Real Drives from me.
They have their own art style, which isn't to everyone's taste, but sometime the vistas can be quite dramatic and even beautiful.
Out of the box I´m not a fan... but with community updates they are great. Someone placed new vegetation on the Ingolstadt-Treuchtlingen route and uploaded it to Railsim the other day. Looks stunning! Changes no signales, trackwork or markers. Scenarios will remain. https://rail-sim.de/forum/filebase/entry/10129-rsslo-treuchtlingen-ingolstadt-vegetationsupdate/
Whether their style suits your taste or not, they certainly know how to capture the Austrian atmosphere.
RSSLO's file distribution is a bit strange though. Stock is delivered as both .ap and loose files. There's preloads in Steam versions of locos that are missing in the RSSLO version. Also, some .proxyxmls are missing from the RSSLO distro. (The game ignores .proxybin files!) Whenever RSSLO overwrites your OBB 1116 for example, you'll have a slightly different version. I'd recommend getting it from Steam if you can wait.
