    Hi there,

oh my I feel a little bit ashamed asking this but the day before yesterday I encountered a hefty Zwangsbremsung on Frankfurt-Fulda with the 101 Expert and was unable to recover and get the train moving. As per se I search the error on my side, I took all my courage and ask for a solution. I have the feeling it might happen again lol

    So, what happened?
Right before Hanau Hbf (ca. 1,2 km away) the LZB ended and I was too fast for the upcoming 110 km/h restriction. Zwangsbremsung. The train grinded to an halt. From that moment on, the LZB siren (the sound when speed limit changes or LZB ends) was going off nonstop (tröööt-tröööt-tröööt) like in a panic mode. The red "G-icon" was lit. On the Störung-Screen there was "Zwangsbremsung wegen LZB" and V>0 and V=0 stated, I should turn off/reset the LZB or even better restart the computers. I searched (in the) manual ... but couldn't find a solution and now the amateurish error solving began:
    - tried PZB release, sound played, didn't change anything
    - reverser to neutral
    - reverser to off
    - removed the reverser!
=> still LZB panic sound and G lit
    - pressed the LZB button at the ZDA terminal, nothing changed
    - lowered pento, turned off battey, nothing (ok here I desperately tried to somehow "turn off the computers")
    - "Don't cry now, you can do then when returning home ..."
    - Searched the LSS for LZB/PZB, flipped it off/on (was on)
    - Searched the "Absperrventil" for PZB/LZB but wasn't sure and let it be
    - TSW prompted me if I want to give up the control (like a punch in the face at first this message! I was offended!) and after thinking for some seconds I pressed "yes". The AI driver spawned in the seat, turned off the alarm and drove off with the train. I was standing now 1,2 km away from Hanau besides the tracks and don't wanted to live anymore ... :)

Sooo, how to recover from such an incident? I'm pretty sure the answer lies in the manual since no one asked this before hehe

    Have a nice one!
    Kind regards

Pretty sure you probably made a wrong lzb exit partern.

After acknowledge the "lzb ende" you are still under Lzb guidance, but you pzb starts to "read" the magnets.

Probably that caused your emergeny brake + too fast as you say.

Thanks for this post, this made me smile, as I am pretty sure we all have been in similar situations with this complex addon. I like the fact you didn’t jump to the conclusion that it must be a bug:D

Have you tried to press the „LZB Stör“ on the ZDE? This should disable LZB

I had what may be a similar situation when I had taken the cab car to Hanau and saved the game so that I could continue the journey Fulda. When I resumed the game, SIFA was inactive, PZB 85 was flashing, and LZB Stör was lit.

After several attempts of panic button pusehes and fuse flips, I discovered that flipping the LZB fuse off and then back on enabled me to enter the train data on the back panel. Everything was good to go after that.
