Hello this is a pretty wierd question but I'm a long time player of tsw (I have played from day one) and I want to switch over to train simulator classic I don't really know much about gaming laptops or pc's and I asked a freind for some help in selecting one to ask for as a gift for Christmas I just wanted to ask if this laptop will run train simulator classic 2024 very well or not?

Regarding the laptop, what is your maximum budget ?

Are you using the Chrome plugin that inverts stuff, including images?
With the text color picker, make sure to pick the bottommost "None". That should use the default.
(It is supposed to invert colors, too, but it might interfere with how this editor / site works. White on white should become black on black.)

As for the laptop, I'm not sure I'd recommend it. I'm using a ROG Zephyrus and it is fairly okay, yet not performing much better than my desktop 9 years prior, for a much higher nominal price (sort of similar considering inflation and currency devaluation). Given how the game works you could have better results with an Intel CPU and Nvidia GPU, given the logos I suspect the game is optimized for those. (Many titles do perform better on this laptop, albeit not extremely much.)

The laptop you linked seemingly ticks these boxes, but it's also mid-range and thus makes me worry a tiny bit.

Unless there is a specific use case for a gaming laptop, you might be better off with a basic laptop for mobility purposes (and basic games) and even a second hand desktop which can be upgraded over time (or simply being cheap). Specifically, 16 GB RAM is okay but isn't very future proof (unless Microsoft pulls the brakes), also the 512 GB SSD would be easy to fill. (Note you should always leave 15% empty.)

Word of warning. TSC is a massive data set once you become hooked. I am using a 2TB SSD.
