Hi been trying to get help for this in ages but not getting anywhere. I'm using my keyboard on xbox series x All keys work on the trains except for the brake key on non conbined power handle trains like class 314 , hst , 47 , 150. To name a few. Not sure if it's my keyboard or not I've tried 2 keyboards and still same issue. Any other players on xbox have the same issue ?
Doesn’t work for me either on Series X or PS5, but I was using a German keyboard and assumed that was the reason. The way they have implemented keyboard support seems really strange. On PC I prefer to game on an English Keyboard (I have a specific keyboard for gaming and it’s only available in English and US formats) but for work stuff I need to use a German Keyboard. TSW doesn’t automatically detect when I switch it in Windows - It shows the keys for the correct keyboard on the controller menu, but they don’t actually change. I have to use the option to reset the keyboard mappings, then it looks for which keyboard I’ve got selected and resets it appropriately. No other game (non DTG) I have had this issue even when I switch when the game is already running. It’s just TSW (TSC also had issues) Unfortunately on console you don’t have this option as keyboards are not officially supported. So I have never managed to find a way to make keyboards work for the brakes on either my XBox or PS5.
