i want to get jump start on TSW6 ideas. there will be tsw6 game i think around September 2025 and one of the reasons is to bring in new people to tsw series. i think DTG is on planning stage of tsw6. Routes: i'm not going to put down any ideas for routes because DTG might have the 3 or so routes listed ready and there doing research for those routes for tsw6. Scenario planner: few things that should be added. 1. path maker. i like to see way you can make your own path from map of route. you select the starting of siding or station and make end point of siding or station. 2. locomotive fuel setting. i like to be able to change fuel of locomotive. it be neat to fuel up and go on your trip over the route. Formation Designer: i have idea so far. 1. load and unload cars. i think it must feature and i think a lot of people are asking for it. Save game Feature. 1. fixes resume last played. it seem to crash when you want to resume last play session. 2. fixes time resetting in player made scenarios. when your playing your own scenario using that you made using scenarios planner and you save your run, what will happen when you resume your run the time will be reset to the time you started the scenarios run. Profile Ideas: what about adding DTG stuff as profile character. matt or alex or harry or sam guy who use to be i think monitor or something or Jamie etc... that all i have for now.
Fix the bugs TSW5 introduced Fix the bugs TSW4 introduced Fix the bugs TSW3 introduced Fix Rush Hour Fix Passengers Give us a full suite of lighting controls so we don't need engine.ini/UUU/Reshade to make the game look like Earth, and not Hoth, where everything is a different shade of reflective white.
This. And fix the title as Train Sim World to get out this cycle of annual reinvention. Plus get the save game sorted with more slots and reliability. Bring back steam traction with decent physics. Less fluff, more simulation and quality not quantity.
Ebula, make it happen already. Dynamic Faults. Reduce prices for older DLCs and DLCs that do not add a new Rolling stock. Improve the Public Editor, fix bugs aswell. Several Off-Rail additions to Formation Designer in order to actually be able to drive your trains on any route you'd like. Improve QA testing processes as clearly it still isn't up to standard. That's it, that's all for me.
We wouldn’t need another tsw version just for this. Instead if we were to get these they should be part of an update instead.
-What I would want: -More US freight routes -Longer routes (100 miles+) -New countries (Russia, China, India, Australia, other countries in Europe, S. America, Mexico, etc.); the game is called Train Sim World after all -More steam locos (especially US ones; maybe some big articulated steam like the Big Boy, Challenger, and SP Cab Forward) -Track maintenance equipment (cranes, track repair, snow clearing, continuous welded rail trains, etc.) -Other railroad jobs simulated (dispatcher, conductor, yard master, station master, brakeman, fireman, etc.) -Better sound recordings on locos -Station announcements and crew chatter -Expansions for certain routes (Sherman Hill, Cajon, Peninsula Corridor, etc.) -1950s-70s-era routes -Historical routes (1860s-early 1900s) -New locomotives and rolling stock -New licenses needed (ie: Metra)
reason i started this is hoping dtg listens and can put some these ideas in next game and this give them time i hope.
Pretty sure it is called Train Sim World for the fact that you can explore the in-game world and not about countries included in the game.
They need to do all of this right now and not make another train sim world game. Dovetail, you really need to stop making the same new game over and over and actually give us what we want without making us pay the same amount of money every year. The least they could do is just release the new routes as a separate add on you do not have to buy and add the new features as a free update.
True. But we do not know yet if they will make a free starter pack next year. I am pretty stupid for forgetting about the free starter pack though.
Well, people will cry on the forums again if they don't include it in future releases as well. I personally think the starter pack is brilliant.
