So playing this route and everytime i press the button to bring map up the game crashes back to xbox home screen then takes 10mins to load game. Also cannot use the camera when you press right stick down nothing happens. Lights in very dull cannot see in the dark. Is anyone else having similar problems I have sent a ticket over as well.
Lights being very dull is just a widespread tsw problem. In Europe, lights aren't meant for you to see but for others to see you. But tsw2 and older routes suffer from poor headlights
I had the same problem. Everytime i wanted to open the live map - instant crash and dashboard. Next thing, i wasn't able to go in external camera at all. Thats sucks nearly as much as all the crashes. From my experience, Luzern-Sursee can't handle the live map. I think i drove all other Routes, but never experienced something similar.
What's annoying is they know about these bugs and yer they still have on the store to buy it should be taken off and worked on then put back on the store
I play on ps5 and just yesterday the same thing happened to me on this route, every time I pressed the map button the game would crash. It was four or five times until I gave up. It's a really frustrating experience because the console reloads the game to enter and it takes many minutes.
@dal and @erg, absolutely. Since TSW 2 I just installed not more than 1/3 of my owned content, which by now in TSW 5 is still around 150 GB and 30 DLC's per "country" (DACH, GB, US). It helps increase the stability but really sucks to not be able to use all the stuff i paid far more than 1000€ at the same time. And while this kind of works, I'm really concerned about TSW 6 next year, that will for sure be too big for the internal 500 GB of the XSX. As you said, loading times into the game and after finishing a szenario or timetable and go back to main menu takes ages. Have u experienced that kind of 100% crash guarantee at another map?
It is really strange. On other routes where there are a multitude of different trains, services and layers the game has a noticeable performance drop when opening the map but it doesn't crash, but on Luzern, where there is only one type of train exclusively and few services, it does.
Yeah, i noticed the performance dropp when i open the live map at every route and then again when i zoom in to the part where the track names pop up. In some yards it always feels like my console wants to give up. Really strange, as you say. But for Luzern it's just horrible. Really like the route even without other stock and not much variety at all.
Hey Dal, I played Luzern yesterday and it was without crashing and i could switch whenever i wanted between internal and external cam. Did you tried again? So to me at least for XSX it looks like they fixed something in livemap.
