Patch 3 Feedback Thread

The update patch states that the conductor mode sequence has changed on the Class 350 however I can't see any differences and I still can't press the buzzer from the cab

 

1. What does this star means? Never see it before.
2. Text somewhere outside of the screen. It says "Show or hi(de something)"

Also WCML after the last update become so stuttering as never before .

 

PC steam no mods
Not had any issues with stutters being worse.
Run four timetables on the wcml after today's update.No change in performance.
I did get the latest NvGPU driver Friday.

 

I much preferred the old indicators. The star is an objective point. Used to be blue and white and black IIRC.

 

Still did wcml today, and I crashed between South hampstead and Euston. Xbox series s. I saw a lot of trees which could have contributed. The service was Crewe to London Euston

 

I noticed (on 2nd run, different service) that when LZB Ende appears, instead of flashing there is sth written underneath, and as you press Release button, it changes into sth like Follow signals/instructions in Fahrplan or sth... so this isnt probably a bug, just a quirk... will try and see what it is next time

 

I like the new feature that shows the trains due at the platform as you hover over it on the 3d map.
Game is suffering from really low frame rates now though.

 

That is a message that is present on some MFDs, to remind the driver that he has to watch the signals again and might already be in a PZB brake curve (you do not see) at the point of exit. Often Zwangsbremsungen are caused by inexperienced players if the last distant signal shows an adverse aspect while you're on your last LZB monitored metres.... Boom! on exit

 

Can you please add some check for dynamic weather like: if there is no clouds in the sky then the rain doesn't start. It looks bad when rain starts from the clear sky and heavy clouds are appears after like 3-4 minutes. Or just delete the transition from clear - to rain. Or add "cloudy" between them.

 

ok so this isnt a bug, just visual difference - on most German locos, LZB Ende flashes until you press Release button... but here it just says sth like Press Release Button... and then it says that other thing ... thx for explanation, even though I understood the instruction - my German might not be sufficient to apply for a real Lokfuhrer job (#lesadface), but I know a couple words and sentences here and there ))

 

There's a lot of different display configurations for different locos. ZusiDisplay has them all (almost, licensing troublemakers everywhere)

Switched on my PS5 about twenty minutes ago and saw an update come through for WCML south, anyone know what it's for?

 

Nothing on steam so far, might be console only.

 

My game completely crashed, i got an error on my PS5 that i needed to delete and reinstall WCML, I did that and the game wont open so had to delete and reinstall, Restoring license did not help

 

Another bug on PC. Resumed a run on Clinchfield to find there is no response to keyboard input. I can use the mouse to physically control the levers but no keys. Sigh. Off to fire up TSC.

 

Any updates? Surely this should be number 1 priority (Fixing the game)

 

Almost complete radio silence from anyone at DTG in the last few days. Hardly conducive to encouraging us to purchase MBTA!

 

Maybe that's a good thing. Or maybe its not.

I guess we'll find out some time next week.

Currently the biggest problem on my console (ps5) is blurry textures. I don't understand how the beta testers could have missed this.

The community team can only tell us stuff when they've been told what to say.

 

It's too late to correct the mistakes. The game should not have been released in this state. I want to play the game and not wait for a fix that is not coming.

 

Yes but the game shouldn’t be released and rushed out if it’s full of bugs. I suggest if you’re new to the TS community (you’ve not been here pre-DTG). Stop trying to defend them because it’s been getting worse for bugs year by year. If they take their time with the updates, like they did with the large TSC patch in early 2023 which stopped dumping/instability, they wouldn’t get so much flack. But they see the pound signs and then this causes the finer QC checklist to become irrelevant

Couldn’t have put it better. If you’re going to do a job, do it properly and not half. There is no excuses if someone is paying for the job/product and DTG are renown for the aforementioned half-a-job practice when it comes to quality

 

Just a stupid question, but where can your see the game version if you're on epic gamestore?

BR 411 - the AFB locking throttle when reducing/maintaining speed under LZB is still there... another one with 411 - the LZB supervision after Hanau sometimes fails to end at the end of LZB wire (at like 160 kph at that point) and goes a couple kms beyond before it Ende and all

 

PS4. WCML keep crashing in Euston area

 

The TSW 5 release has been a bit of a disaster up to now.
