I'm so sick off this game keep crashing half way through routes I have put a few tickets in and nothing it's really hitting a nerve now .
I've downloaded the free version of TSW5 but as of yet haven't played it. Judging by these forums I don't think I will until all the optimization problems have been sorted. I suppose I should form my own opinion and try it but for now I will stick with playing TSW4.
I have no problem whatsoever with TSW4 performance on my Xbox series X. So hopefully TSW5 will get there.
After the last update my (XBX) version crashes every....single.....time, after finishing a service when it tries to return to the main menu.
you need to give more information like what Xbox are you on ? what route are you on ? what service are you on ? / are you on free roam ? what is the time of day if dynamic weather is on or off where are you on the map when the crash happened I'm on series S so for me and Xbox one S users it will likely be out of memory issues Though it’s a pain when it happens I agree and I too am sick of not having a fix for this yet

The latest TSW5 update patch included "XBOX memory optimizations." If XBOX Series consoles are still crashing and the problem is still not fixed, it is because DTG HAVE NO IDEA how to fix the problem (same as the audio crackling that was said to be fixed, but is actually still broken). Until DTG stop hiring cheap college interns, and employ developers who actually know what they are doing, XBOX crashing problems will never be fixed.
Midnight prolong your break by an extended 6 weeks then reinstall TSW 5 you never know it might be fixed (dry sarcasm knowing DTG wont fix it for at least a year )
There's no cracking, that's gone. Instead, there's the occasional audio popping, which isn't any better. Baseless. Any proof who they employ or what skills they have? Doubt it, as its not our place as customers to know the ins and outs of it.
are you on console or PC I ain't getting audio popping on series S unless i am blindly just not paying attention to it gotten so use it that i don't register it hahahhaha but i'm sure i'm not having this issue anyways and thank god the audio cracking has gone that was a pain in the arse
I use a Series X. The audio popping isn't really noticeable I've found unless you actively look for it, although it annoyed me when it happened the first time. I've learned to live with it until DTG decide to fix it, whenever that'll be.
Just finished Far Cry 5, and about to start 6 ... then there's The Division 2 and Borderlands 3 to go, so can extend the break from TSW for a good while yet. "Yes, it's still broken." would have been less to type. No, we are just the paying customers, so what right do we have to ask or know anything? When the wheels fall off your new car as you leave the showroom, just accept it and don't ask questions.
What I have been noticing more is the “drainpipe” effect where sound seems to distort for several seconds then return to normal. On both PC and PS5 so, as I’ve remarked previously, can’t blame the former on making do with the motherboard sound chip.
