If/when the Class 104 appears this would also be a great route to set back in the BR Classic era. Class 104’s were pretty much the mainstay of the line, many being allocated to Buxton Depot.
Seeing as this would be the third Piccadilly and the stretch from Manchester - Stockport already being modelled I see the chance of this being created unlikely but a 150/1 or 156 in game would be great! However it might seem like a diesel Glossop line but it would certainly populate the station and give a different feel to northern services by having a little diesel action in the mix from the class 323 in the other two Northern DLCs.
