The traction motor sound when pulling off with the 323 seems to have changed since porting over to TSW4, it appears the charge sound doesn't occur anymore prior to pulling off. Can the team look into this please as I can't understand why it would have changed.
I can explain. In real life before the long hum sound there is a clunk and the transformer also activates at the same time. But In tsw the clunk was first added to the NT 323 and was retrofitted to the WMT 323 for tsw 4, as a result the hum is about 1/2 a second long when it should've remained as long as it did in tsw 3 (about a second or 2). If you wanna hear what that train should sound like in game you need to perform a hill start to prolong the hum Listen at 8:11
I’m still on TSW3 and noticed immediately once I first tried the Glossop Line that the hum was shortened on the Northern Class 323. Significantly shorter than that same hum on the WMR Class 323!
Yes it is, was perfect before introduction of TSW4. Tickets never get responded to, so I'm reluctant to bother as it's not game breaking..
It's still worth notifying someone so it can be potentially fixed. DTG Alex just giving you a ping in case this isn't on the internal buglist.
Hello, appreciate the tags - just looking at this now and I will get out Dev teams to take a look at the audio.
I believe this is still outstanding as of TSW5. Can anyone confirm if it is still on this of things to be fixed please? Thank you.
