Ok, this is awesome. I love exploration in free-roaming games, and in TSW there's a lot of hidden gems. Ruhr Sieg Nord is a great add-on and Elverlingsen Power Station is one of the most recognizable landmarks on the route, located between Altena and Werdohl. There is a railroad going there and you can reach the power plant in first person mode, but is it possible to go there by train? There are several great locations not available in scheduled trips or scenarios. Any idea? Thanks!

Unfortunately you can't get there by train as there is no service that go there in game hopefully if the route got an expansion then there may be a possibility but until then nope.

I'm not sure but if I remember correctly there is not any overhead gantry there, so none of the current electric locos can reach the power station. It'll need the rumored diesel add on pack to maybe make use of the tracks.

If there is gantry then ignore me. :)

Think its a safe bet that a diesel loco’s coming. Theres a coal service to Werdohl in timetable mode already, If you have the BR 155 dlc. Main Spessart Bahn is also in need of s Diesel to run into the Port area. So Id expect something that can be applied yo both routes.

Just wondering why they created such a detailed location without a specific purpose. We'll see :)

Might want to hold onto your money if you're just looking for a service to the power station. The service mentioned ends at Wehrdohl, NOT the power station. From there it just says that a local switcher will take it to the power station.

Yes, I got it, but still interesting. And I like that kind of service.
