Question: Which routes & locos would you like to see in TSW? Routes: Marston Vale Line (Bedford - Bletchley) Chiltern Main Line (London Marylebone - Bicester North (Banbury at a stretch)) Great Eastern Main Line (London Liverpool Street - Colchester (Ipswich at a stretch)) South West Main Line (Weymouth - Southampton Central (Basingstoke at a stretch) or Bournemouth - Basingstoke) Jubilee Line (underground) (the full line - Stanmore - Stratford) Locomotives: Class 150 (with bogies) Class 115 Class 68 Class 165 Class 168 FLIRT units Class 444 Class 450 1996 stock What would you like to see?
1. Kent Coast & South Eastern Main Line: Ashford - Ramsgate via Dover Priory Preferred year would be 1994 with a Class 411, so old stations like Dover Western Docks and Folkestone Harbour would still be around, but modern day would be okay. 2. London, Tilbury and Southend Line: Fenchurch Street - Shoeburyness via Rainham Any time after 2007, so trains on HS1 can be seen. Either a class 357 or a class 720. 3. Marshlink Line: Ashford International - Eastbourne Transition era, 2003. The class 170 could be turned into a class 171 with minor modifications, so only the class 205 would need to be built from scratch. 4. West Coastway: Brighton - Southampton Central (2003, Class 412 + Class 377) Transition era, 2003. The class 377 already exists, so only the class 412 would need to be made. 5. Chiltern Main Line: Marylebone - Banbury (2014, Class 67 + Class 68) Any time after 2014, so we can get a class 68.
The thing is that TSW regularly only does routes with about a 20 mile - 70 mile radius, but I would like to see the West Coastway, I think it'd be a fun little extension for East Coastway. Would be good if there was an extension from Ashford - ramsgate but I doubt that happening.
Exeter - Plymouth & Kingswear in 1965 with classes, 22, 35, 41 (D600s never officially classed as 41s) 42, 43 & 52s. Never ever going to happen but i can dream for my hydraulic and maybach heaven.
There's two I have in mind I wouldn't mind seeing (I may even make a suggestion for each): 1. South Humberside Main Line: Cleethorpes - Doncaster including the branch to Barton-upon-Humber. The line is served by TransPennine Express, Northern and East Midlands Railway. Stations: Cleethorpes, New Clee, Grimsby Docks, Grimsby Town, Great Coates, Healing, Stallingborough, Habrough, Barnetby, Scunthorpe, Althorpe, Crowle, Thorne South, Hatfield & Stainforth, Kirk Sandall, Doncaster. TransPennine Express would be the focus, being the only train operator to cover the whole route. Class 185s are used on their hourly Cleethorpes to Liverpool Lime Street services, stopping at Grimsby Town, Habrough, Barnetby, Scunthorpe and Doncaster. One train per day each way also serves the stations (except Kirk Sandall) between Scunthorpe and Doncaster. The 150/2 (modelled to Northern standards plus updated sounds and physics) for the stopping service between Scunthorpe and Doncaster. The Class 170/5 (remodelled from the 170/4 already in game and updated to EMR specs including the removal of the middle carriage), which cover all Barton line services (all stations between Cleethorpes and Barton-upon-Humber) as well as the Leicester - Lincoln/Grimsby Town service (stops at Barnetby and Habrough). 2. Selby Line: Hull to Doncaster via Goole and Selby. Would prefer also to Leeds and York for realistic crew change points but via Selby and Goole to Doncaster would be enough. Stations (main line): Hull, Hessle, Ferriby, Brough, Broomfleet (limited service), Gilberdyke, Eastrington (limited service), Howden, Wressle (limited service), Selby, Doncaster. Stations (Goole branch): Saltmarshe (limited service), Goole, Thorne North, Hatfield & Stainforth, Kirk Sandall, Doncaster). Trains: Class 158 (/7, /8, 9 variants, some of the 7s are 3 carriages). These do the Doncaster stopping services calling at all stations via Goole except Broomfleet and Saltmarshe which see limited services each day. They also do the Halifax runs which stop at Brough and Selby only. Can be substituted for the Class 155 (Halifax) or Class 150/2 (Doncaster and Halifax) which occasionally do these as well. It's not unusual to have a 155/150, or 150/158, or 155/158, or 158x2 coupled together. Some of these came from ScotRail of which a model already exists. Class 155. York to Bridlington, on this route they would call at Brough, Gilberdyke, Howden and Selby, the last service of the day also calls at Hessle and Ferriby. The occasional Class 170 could also do this. Class 170 - these do the Sheffield to Scarborough services, calling at Brough, Goole and Doncaster (one per day each way calling at Selby). One westbound train per day serves all stations to Hull. One eastbound train per day also calls at Saltmarshe and Gilberdyke. As with the 158, these came from ScotRail, so only slight modification needed. Class 185: Hull - Manchester express. Calling at Brough and Selby (limited services also stop at Gilberdyke and Howden). Class 802/3: Beverley/Hull to London Kings Cross. Roughly every 2 hours, calling at Brough, Howden, Selby and Doncaster.
yeah, we seem to have quite a lot of similar threads running concurrently, perhaps an indication of the level of discontentment with the current game, for TSW is still and foremost a game with achievements, collectibles and rewards
Not seeing the point of this thread at all, when there’s literally a Suggestions forum for such things.
aeroquent There is a Suggestions subforum dedicated to people's wishes. You can get a good picture of what people want to see in the game there.
I’d quite like another London Underground route - preferably a sub surface line such as the metropolitan or district. I think the s7/8 stock would be good but I think they might be automatic? Someone correct me if I’m wrong, if they cannot make the s stock trains I would be more than happy with the D 78 or C stock trains.

When the new Piccadilly Line trains enter permanent service, I'd like to see that! Also I'd like to see the circle of jubilee line, nice routes I think. Bakerloo is my favourite route because I love how you go underground, it's so unique, that's why I think Merseyrail would be a great addition, or the Tyne & Wear Metro.
Arlbergbahn Innsbruck-Bludenz Brennerbahn Innsbruck-Verona Karwendelbahn/Mittenwaldbahn Innsbruck via seefeld (both in tirol austria) and mittenwald to garmisch (both in bavaria germany) Innsbruck-Salzburg route Salzburg-Rosenheim-Innsbruck route All this routes combined as ONE Route trains on all routes: Obb 4024 (all versions which are on routes i mentioned) Railjet (with all locomotives that are going as Railjet) Ice 4 (Deutsche bahn) Ice (OBB)
Reading - Redhill and Ascot (GWR and SWR) And Bournemouth - Woking (SWR, GWR and XC - Including the basingstoke to reading branch)
How about the Calder Valley Line Leeds-Manchester Victoria/Blackpool via Hebden Bridge. Germany to Netherlands Duisburg Arnhem 99km and Oldenburg-Groningen 129km
I am creating short route featuring Innsbruck tirol s capital also i am planning to make livery to OBB 1116 featuring railjet
What I want to come is the Airedale wharefedale lines (leeds-ilkley-skipton-Bradford Foster SQ) With that I want the 333, 331 and 158.
None you've suggested above as they are all southern routes. TSW is overloaded with southern routes. I'd like to see a routes that incorporates Newcastle upon Tyne.
1.Jubilee line 2,portsmouth dierct line same as tsc 3. swml southampton to bourmouth same as tsc 4.lgv nord 5 paris rer 6.queensland city rail 7,bergan line norway 8.flam line norway 9.highland mainline
The route i want to see is the Sound Transit S-Line, between seattle king street station and Lakewood via Tacoma dome station. Stock would include: Sounder F59PHI and MP40PH with all types of BI-Level coaches Sounder operates. Some BNSF locomotives, like a DASH 9-44cw and GP38-2 with some new rolling stock with the ES44C4, SD40-2, and SD70ACE with respective stock layering on from Cajon pass. There could also be a separate Loco add-on for the SC-44 and Talgo series 8 train sets, with a possible P42 and F40PH NPCU with horizon coaches.
Actually: Marston Vale Line is in the Midlands. It doesn't operate anywhere near or south of London. Chiltern Main Line has a London terminus, but ventures north towards Birmingham. Plus its entirely diesel. Great Eastern Main Line is east (where there are no TSW routes at all), not south. South West Main Line is south, yes, but south west. Southern TSW routes at the moment are south/south east. Jubilee Line is entirely in London, of which only one route of its type exists.
Also, Alaska RR: Anchorage-Seward w/ SD70MAC, GP40-2, and GP38-2, plus freight and passenger equipment. Also, D&RGW Soldier Summit: Helper-Provo, plus extension to Salt Lake City w/ Amtrak F40PH and California Zephyr, SD40T-2, GP30, SD50, GP60, and/or GP40-2.
One more idea: UP/BNSF or C&NW/BN Powder River Wyoming Coal route; UP ES44AC, ET44AC, SD70ACe-T4, SD90-43MAC, or AC6000CW and BNSF ES44ACH/ES44AC, ET44ACH, SD70MAC, or SD70ACe; C&NW AC4400CW, SD50, SD60, or C44-9W; BN SD70MAC or SD60M
A bit left-field and out of DTG's usual territories. But the Portugese "Riviera Line" from the beautiful city of Lisbon along the estuary passing beaches, palm trees and shrubs full of pink and orange flowers and cute villages out to the coastal town of Cascais. Such a wonderful route to ride. The line is about to be modernised with new trains so I'd love to see it saved for posterity in TSW.
Thanks for your reply. Where I'm located, there all in a southerly direction, where it be Midlands London or whatever
