Welcome to the Train Sim World Screenshot Contest! This week's theme is: Training Centre How does it work? You can submit your screenshot to the thread, and every Monday we will choose which screenshots will go to the loading screens. Shortly after, we will open a new thread and announce the winners. Each week has its own theme. Competition Rules: Limit is 2 screenshots per person; 1 screenshot per post. Include in your post the route the screenshot was taken on as well as the name of the train (if applicable). Screenshots must be in a 16:9 resolution, at least 1920x1080 pixels, even better if it’s 4K! Screenshots may be taken on Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X & S ,Steam or Epic. Submissions must fit the theme of the week, as stated at the beginning of this post. Other Rules: Official content only. Please make sure anything that is not available on the Steam Store or Dovetail Store is not shown in the screenshot. - This means no community mods. No entries to include vehicles using Livery Designer. Due to licencing limitations we are unable to use these images. Your entry may be disqualified if it is deemed to not follow these rules. Please limit chat to only when absolutely necessary. Competition closes at mid-day Monday (UK time). The winner will be chosen every Monday. Winner's Prize: The winning screenshot will appear in the game as a loading screen for 1 week! Setting up the shot If you are playing on Steam the keys “2” or “3” will offer a selection of pre-set external views, or you can use “8” to get a free camera with more control. If you are playing on console pressing the right joystick will give you a free external camera. Console players can change the camera angle moving the two joysticks, and on Steam the direction keys and mouse will achieve the same results. Taking a Railfan Shot Make sure “Hide the UI” is on in settings, then... Xbox One – Hold the X button. PlayStation – Hold the Square button. Steam – Press Ctrl + F10 Railfan shots can then be found in your Profile at trainsimworld.com. Yeah. The last winner made a very good picture, I like it... but I couldn't see any fog or mist on it what the requested theme was last week. Just darkness and rain puddles.
Yes, just yes. It was supposed to come back to normal after TSW 5’s launch, … that was when? Oh! That’s right! 17th September 2024! That was, 7 weeks ago. -_- Yep, the trouble was, they chose a theme were the weather restricts what you can see, so the winner, unlike mine and many others, you could at least see something, other than the nose of a pendolino sticking out of the fog. Or the area of effect of the lights. So yeah, don’t chose the one were you can see the most just because the faint outline of a ICE wouldn’t make a good photo (there’s a reason why most people don’t do photography in the fog after all).

Generally, people who are good at taking good-looking screenshots will take good-looking screenshots. Good-looking screenshots win screenshot contests. Dantechmanify takes REALLY good-looking screenshots. I mean they are VERY good at this. As such, they are probably the most successful contestant in the Train Sim World screenshot contest. If that is true, then Dantechmanify deserves it, because those screenshots that have been shared in the past are amazing!
No I think it's more they can't stick with their own themes and are biased against American Locomotives
