Can this only be done through the scenario editor in the game or through TS Tools? I am trying to edit a scenario but it's taken over 15 minutes to load so far which doesn't seem right?
That's the official method as explained in the manual. Add object set "AP\WeatherEP" in the filter and then select your preferred "AP..." weather. 15 minutes to load? What scenario is this? Does it have a thousand dependencies?
It's a scenario on ATS part of a pack. All but one of them load within a couple of minutes but for some reason this one isn't loading within the same timescale.
CW10 2C13 0727 Cambridge to London Kings Cross https://alanthomsonsim.com/download...s-cross-peterborough-cambridge-scenario-pack/ Here you go, thank you
*Please note these Scenarios have been released prior to the route being updated. Once the update is released an update will also be released: Cambridge - Peterborough Last Updated 7/31/2024 Kings Cross-Kings Lynn 7/14/24 Both are now combined in E:\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Content\Routes\1f8f9c40-10bb-4310-ab5c-3a6a74893eb1 I would suggest that this pack is not supported Text on site states: "Class313 Fan says: 8th June 2022 at 15:11 Quick question, has this scenario pack been updated for the latest version of the Kings cross – kings Lynn route ? Reply chriswillis1981Author says: 24th January 2023 at 00:22 Apologies for the massive delay, I had no idea you commented…….in a word no, it is something i plan on updating but ive no idea when"
That shouldn't affect using the AP weather though kilt, particularly as other scenarios that have been tested function OK Ade, did the scenario load OK before you tried to change the weather?
Yep...that's why I asked whether it worked before the editing. However, whilst a route update can prevent scenarios from loading the problem isn't that it takes 15 minutes to load but that he'd waited 15 minutes and it still hadn't loaded.
All of the other scenarios load and work fine. This one also works fine but I wanted to add AP weather but it won't load after I click on 'Edit'
Silly question perhaps - have you tried going into edit from the scenario in play? 2nd suggestion - use rwtools and check for empty consists .
Whilst in RW Tools see if the scenario weather will change there, both from the scenario editor and by editing the ScenarioProperties.xml file.
