I mean all sliders to the left - clearest weather possible and everything is covered in haze. Everytime and everywhere. And you can't turn it off or(which may be better) decrease its intensity. I'm watching the MBTA stream now - clear weather, but everything is extremely pale in the distance.
A little light haze is good particularly on night drives when it helps diffuse what pathetically low levels of ambient light the game offers. First thing I do with the ini mod installed is open up the weather and set a 0.002 (or is it 0.0002) level for fog and it looks very atmospheric.
I don’t have any haze on my routes apart from one, Tees Valley Line, the haze is really terrible on this route idk if anyone else has this problem aswell .
There is the haze that’s always there to provide the distance perception and in some cases it does do that well but at certain times it can look too hazy. I’d prefer it if I could try having less of it but it is true that even with the fog slider at zero the haze is still present and can’t be removed entirely. It is probably part of what makes the game look a bit washed out at times but as it can’t be removed on PS5 I have no way of checking if it would be better without it. But it is definitely there.
All routes with new sky/lighting. My ini is fine - there is 0 lines about weather. What about check your ini? Cause it exists on every stream from devs(so it exists in vanilla game). Run midday with all sliders to the left - don't you see pale tress on horizon? Yes, but you can't see it at night. You need to add haze manually for volumetric lights at night. And it would be realistic if it weren't so aggressive during midday.
