When driving the German trains, they constantly talk to you. Would it be possible to add an option for a local translation of this in cab information. I appreciate that it wouldn't be a 100% authentic experience but for the non German speakers amongst us at least we would know what is going on in the cab. Some sort of toggle on the settings would be good to give the player choice. If not a vocal translation, a local language subtitle would do. As someone who is fairly new to using the German safety systems I find it frustrating when the train does something I wasn't expecting and the train proudly announces what is going on in a language I don't understand, leaving me no clue as to what just happened and why.
There are many Germans on this forum who are happy to help you out in the meantime! The most common ones you'll be hearing will probably be: Zugbeeinflussung - train influencing: when operating any of the three PZB buttons, just to tell you that you're using one of the PZB buttons. I think it's also played at the beginning of an LZB end process. Türfreigabe - door release: when slowing down below 30km/h just to remind you to unlock the doors essentially. SIFA - SIFA: speaks for itself, I reckon. Störung - fault: You'll often hear this when starting a loco up, no need to worry about it. It's a bit of a running joke that TRAXXs (146, 185, 187 in TSW) like to complain. Unless you're running the expert 101 and hear this on the go, then a fault occured. And just for good measure: Zwangsbremsung - penalty brake application: played whenever a safety system issues a penalty brake application. I think that should be most of what you hear in TSW. The ICE3 has some other stuff during start-up that I can't recall from the top of my head now.
