I just tried to play a timetable service (Train#714: Atlantic Terminal - Hempstead) with the LIRR M9 EMU. As soon as I open the train doors at Jamaica station, TSW5 closes abruptly to the desktop and I receive the below UE4 crash. Has anyone else received this UE4 crash when playing this specific LIRR service or LIRR commuter? This is my first TSW5 crash. Is there a way to prevent this from happening? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Any outdated mods, engine.ini edits, if you're using a Raildriver and PieHid.dll is corrupt or missing it can cause a crash, even if you're not using a raildriver and the PieHid.dll is corrupt or missing again the game will crash. Have you validated the game files via Steam?
Many thanks for the suggestion. This helped. I had deactivated a few mods through the a program called TSW mod manager, then deleted mod files from my PC. Afterwards, I validated the game files via steam. Everything validated successfully. I then rebooted my PC and ran TSW again and was able to complete this service without any issues.
