hi y'all! I bought semmeringbahn this weekend! On my first eye it was very good. Maybe others who have this route can say some things about it? And how orks route hopping? I have the training centre that should have it, also semmeringbhan has it I guess, not sure. And, If I goin free roam at the route, how can I get the red lights of because now I can't get further than that. And, as last, Can I add other trains at the time-table I own?
Hi, I also bought it in Steam sale just today. I am having the usual RailDriver problems with it, but that is on every other Route as well. Otherwise I am inquiring like you are.
I think it's a great route but for me the slow mountain pass although beautiful does get repetitive a bit. therefore I haven't completed a lot of services there. The change from the slow part to the straight shot to Wiener Neustadt is very nice every time. The lack of roling stock variation (and a lot being completely wrong) makes me think I'll enjoy it more when it gets a big rework. right now it's passenger and freight from A-B with one exeption being the CJX9. Still from time to time an enjoyable route though.
coentrainfan#7502 congrats on getting this route! I too just got it during the current sale. So I’m still learning it. But regarding the red lights, we call them red aspects, try going into your map (hit the number 9), then click on your train and select Set Path from the pop up menu. Now click on where on the map you’d like to go, close or far, and the game’s dispatcher will set all the switches for you and you’ll get green aspects. Have fun!

For info. On my version of TSW I have to delete the Current Path in order to get the option to Set Path.
Big critic from my side that DTG still hasnt implemented the vectron substitution. You can select it from the menu, but its not actually appearing when you spawn on foot or in a 1116 service. Also not a single vectron in a depot static. Big minus point to a very good route. Same for the 1116 on vorarlberg, no substitution, not as static stock. (Just selectable from the menu). Same for the 1 vectron passenger service, go there on foot and it will never appeare.... DTG Matt , why this specific problem was climed as "solved" in a past update log? It clearly isnt.
I agree regarding loco substitution.This would be a fine route if a few different locos subbed in to break up the endless 116s going past.Gets repetitive very quickly
