I think they're there in Journey mode. The only bad thing about it is that you can't change the weather.
You cant pick them from the timetable due to how it works, since the locomotive is in the middle of the formation, you "cant" pick the service from timetable mode, you either have to play in Journey mode, or continue directly from Part 2.

yeah, part 3 and 4 are missing in timetable since the release, so just a couple of years. But you can choose the part you wanna play directly via journey mode ...
They're in the timetable but you'll have to spawn on foot and go find them - journey is just quicker (aside from not being able to choose weather etc). As said above, its because the locos are in the middle
When you created this task series, did you set out to give the player something bonkers like driving a train with the loco in the middle and cars on both ends to show how weird freight can be, or is that simply how the logic worked out and you just rolled with it?
I remember watching the preview stream and if my memory serves, this is how they used to do this particular run in Clinchfield, so this is historically accurate, but DTG Matt can correct me if I'm wrong. Also, its pretty much what got me excited about this route. If only it had a ToD4 makeover... *wink-wink*
I was trying to work out how the moves worked serving each of the mines and came to the bonkers conclusion the loco had to end up in the middle for it all to work. Doubting my sanity, I contacted a clinchfield expert, and within a couple of hours, he replied with a snippet from a magazine from many years ago which had no less than a photograph and description of this exact thing. Just about every branch move has been recreated based on evidence in some form or another - one of them was done with a log a journalist took when he got the chance to ride with a crew and he recorded what was done and how, that was gold. Another was a video showing some interesting stuff and answered some questions about some moves. I spent a huge amount of time researching and got tons of support from a few people. Was very satisfying to finish Am hoping to devote some quality time to the upgrade over Christmas break as I have plenty of time off The new lighting plus the new headlights and working banking comm already transform the route. That's very cool! Greatly looking forward to playing it again with the updates. Will this be a patch in the end, or will it have to be a completely new version like the remasters?
