I think the issue with 70’s is going to be licensing as DTG don’t have one with Freightliner, though I’m guessing Colas might be a possibility albeit limited scope for operations.

The Class 70 is needed so that modern British routes have a different freight loco other than the Class 66 (although I do like the Class 66s).

Think the class 60 will be the best bet if skyhook made it. Then it will be a better dlc choice than all their awful wagon packs

Now that they have a Freightliner license I hope to see the class 70 at some point, a new UK freight loco would be an immediate buy for me

If I heard right from the Over Shap preview stream, the Frightliner license that is being used with Over Shap does include the current Frightliner brand but doesn't include the new orange livery

The Freightliner license is for the British Rail brand, not the privatised company.

Matt said on preview stream last night that the Freightliner license permits the future use of the Green / Yellow livery, but does not permit the Orange G&W

So yes, a class 70 is possible providing a suitable route becomes available
