    Lots of potential there - especially for freight lovers. Admittedly, some new freight rolling stock would be needed to make full use of the potential. Dillingen is still a real hotspot for freight and heavy industry:

    Maybe based in the 80s or 90s (with a BR120)

    the german route i want most isn’t one of the options but i’ll say it anyway, berlin u bahn. it’s a good network. it’s iconic. it’s got great trains. and best of all, it’s yellow

    Berlin - Dessau, because weirdly enough it's the two places I will be traveling two next year.

    But MAINLT because I just want a route that has berlin in it.

    I have not voted because none of the routes were that interesting to me. If you would have added the option"none of these" into the poll, maybe a buch of people would show up that were more interested in other German routes that were not mentioned. Also iam a fan of capital letters in sentences, especially names ;)

    On topic: Honestly, none of the options appeal to me. But don't worry, I already noticed that my taste seems to differ a lot from most of the forum's. :o
    We already got so, so many modern, straightforward, electrified, fast-moving main routes... I'd like to see a change of pace, literally.
