Hi I know this is mainly a train forum but I have just downloaded MSFS 2024 and it is work but very laggy but there is this weird thing that whenever I fly these weird pixel clumps form and make my Xbox run on like 3 fps. Here is an example here I know this isn’t at all related to trains but I don’t know if msfs has a forum and I guess at least someone on here will know what’s wrong. If not, thanks anyway
I think we can no longer say the launch of TSW5 was a sh*tshow. You are lucky to even be in the game. I have 4hrs of playtime and am yet to get out of the 97% club.
I have heard that lots of people are having issues with MSFS 2024, on steam, and on the marketplace where downloading has seemed impossible for some.
True, but this simulator can pave the way for future developments of TSW. As said in another thread, it's not possible to transpose directly things, for example the automatic terrain creation based on satelite images, as it is meant to be played 1000 feet above. But extending the sector where you can fly to the whole world, damn, that's an example of how the technological progress can lead. I hope one day, when there will be enough content in TSW (as it already is in TS), it will be possible to choose your starting point on one map/route, say Euston, and set your destination to another (eg Fort Bill) through a kind of merge feature. Let's set the expectations high !
I think the only thing wrong is that you're running a game on day one that wasn't nearly ready on day one. Comments like yours are appearing everywhere.
Has this got something to do with the streaming feature of MSFS2024? I remember hearing about the need for a ridiculously high internet speed to actually play the game - is this true?
Just saw something similar on the Farm Sim 25 Facebook group, putting into perspective the slight issues that game has launched with. Well my PC falls far below the requirements for MSFS2024 so haven’t bothered, in fact MFS2020 isn’t even installed here, still get my aviation fix in FSX.
