Just loaded a save of ecml and weather suddenly changed like that. Why? No natural transition at all. Playing on ps5 on 1s08
that is not a bug, it is the way the weather works in TSW... Unless you see no rain on the windscreen, but outside it's raining, or the wiper clears the windscreen and the rain does not reappear. Odd things like yes need to be reported, but the way the weather changs, Welcome to TSW...
No what i meant to say was it was upon saving the game wet and foggy then suddenly changed to blue skies and sunny with no real transition. In the past it's gradually changed. Not like it did upon me loading the save today.
Yes that also is an issue with TSW and save games, many have reported several different issues with the Save Game, and it has been a bit buggy in the past, TSW5 just added more oddities to the the Same Game.
I think TSW5 has overdone the climate change impacts. Another unusual weather phenomenon happened at Preston station. After driving a service from Blackpool, I arrived at Preston station with completely blue sky in all directions. But thunder could be heard fairly close by. I checked the sky through 360° with the camera, not a cloud in sight.
The dynamic weather in TSW is very weird. You have fast moving clouds and it could be foggy and all of a sudden the fog disappears and it instantly turn to mostly cloudy with a bit of sun. This has existed since TSW3 and suprisingly, it does not seem like anything has been done to make the weather feel more like a natural transition.
And it matters not: PC, Epic, Steam XB, PS In some cases on my XB1X, it's even worse. <- I understand it's outdated, but at least I can upgrade the HDD albeit not have the Uber graphics of X or S optimized. And in some cases no amount of mods will correct what is in TSW as of now.
