Definitely West Cornwall Local scenery is mostly wrong and the 150 needs a rebuild the physics and sounds are wrong
London Commuter. I've heard that much of the performance issues from London Commuter come from the third rail being solid, which DTG discovered would require a complete route rebuild to fix. Perhaps, then, we could see some more layers on console and some TOD4! However, West Cornwall Local is a good shout, and is probably most in need of a refresh.
Peninsula Corridor. Great route with a nice rolling stock variety and timetable, let down by the bad scenery especially around San Fransisco. Or Arisa Line. Same issue, but it would require corrected rolling stock physics as well.
Northern Transpennine - a new timetable including the 31 and 3 car 101 with more AI traffic at the main stations plus TOD4 lighting and some scenery enhancements. I think the signalling might need looking at too.
Hauptstrecke Munchen Ausburg. Because this route is a real mess at the moment. Red light issues coming into Munchen and there's a serious problem with the signals/pzb magnets.
Personally, I really want a remaster of the Arosa line. It would be great to see it as a Bernina. The Peninsula Corridor definitely needs improvements. It doesn't look any better than Arosa and can provide crazy gameplay at new quality standards. A remaster of Sand Patch Grade remains a big dream (for me, the highest priority). I want to see it in new quality, with new lighting, vegetation, new schedule, new locomotives. It deserves it as the progenitor of the TSW. I'm waiting for the Clinchfield remaster from Mett, I think it will be very interesting. And of course I want to get an extension (to Siegen) and an improvement of the entire route to the new standards of my beloved Ruhr Sieg Nord
North Transpennine for me. It was great when it came out (and still is for Thrash) but the stuff that could be done with it now with the extra locos/carriages/wagons etc etc would be incredible.
- West Cornwall Local - Scotrail Express: Edinburgh - Glasgow - Northern Trans-Pennine - Tees Valley Line
Tees valley would be great to see. Updsted scenery/TOD4 lighting, pacer layers, and perhaps including either a class 56, or 58 as a loco add-on
Northern Transpennine and London Commuter for me... NTP is a good bloody route, nice grimey BR era, plenty of variety, good variety of claggy polluting traction... Just up my street. Imagine if brought up to a remastered version. I'd froth at the mouth! Completely underrated route. Appeals to us BR era lovers in particular. London to Brighton is still one my personal favourite routes and is a really good end to end, entire route, with modern complexity and a vast timetable. With a remaster that would bring it up to TSW5 standards... I'd go as far as saying it would be up there as one of the most played routes in the entire game.
For me it would be update the Boston-Providence timetable and include the new coaches/HSP46... OR same deal with Antelope valley - update timetable, fix some scenery issues and include the MP36/bi-levels. But if I had to choose it would be Boston Providence. Edit: NTP would be another big one.
NTP - a unique route in the UK library of routes in terms of scenery, gradients etc... remastered with up to date lighting, signal fixes and general tlc plus timetable enhancements and AI using stock that wasn't around when it originally came out. Class 31 and 3 car 101 for example. Update the Class 45 etc... too. I'd even push it a few years later to match JT 1986 era so all the stock from their routes could be used too. Drop in a Class 110 DMU or Class 25 for DLC. Other choices would be Tees Valley including extending it to Bishops Auckland so we actually get the full Tees Valley line, add in new stock and much more AI. Then London Commuter.
I don't think Peninsula Corridor would fit this bill, as it would need something more than a "Refresh" a la a LIRR 2.0. If I had to choose.... Sherman Hill -Finish Track 3. -Update Scenery -Update general physics -Fix the UP Heritage Pack for it Cajon Pass -Update timetable (UP & Metrolink Traffic, more local stuff, improve rolling stock subbing from SD70ACe) -Update scenery (The pass is still severely neglected.) AVL -Update Scenery -Update timetable, fix subbing
North Transpennine route for me. In serious need of a bit of love. Kind of hoping that if it was to be done, then JustTrains can be involved/lead it too so that it can be brought up to the quality of the same era routes they've released.
