What a fantastic route. As usual the level of detail from Just Trains is amazing. My only criticism so far is the 142 hasn't been updated to allow the announcements to work with the Preston to Carlisle services so when running 2P43 it tells you the next stop is Salwick instead of Lancaster or Carnforth.

The rest though is just brilliant. Well done JT

 

I like the fact that their ate different poster collectables, another first for TSW. Well done JTs another nice touch.

 

What do you mean by "different poster collectables"? SoS had multiple poster designs.

 

The Steam version has been released on the Just Trains website. It helps JT receive the money immediately, rather than wait for the platform payments. You receive a Steam key.

Pasted the activation code on Steam, but absolutely nothing is showing up.
I suppose that mean I have to wait ?

 

Same, I guess it will show up when they actually release it. I am tired of being punished because I play on PC

 

I've seen so many posts and emails today I can't remember exactly where I saw it but I think it was Just Trains Facebook page. It said you can enter the code and it will download as soon as it's live on Steam.

 

1st bug Ive found on day 1 of realese . But great route just trains I really love driving the 87

 

That issue has happened on the eastcoastway around Newhaven harbour

 

It says on the jt site available for immediate download yet I gotta wait another 11 mins. God sake.

 

I believe this is a DTG Core game issue and not by JT!

Downloading for me now, Bought from JT though and put code in 2 mins ago.

 

It's definitely there, mine is already downloaded. Just typed Preston and could see both JT Routes.

 

It's there now.

But right at the bottom of the DLC list.

Idk what I'm doing wrong but when I want to play guard mode it doesn't want to work as it just keeps saying guard left the train when I haven't. For the class 87. But it works fine on the class 101

 

Another bug for a class 101 at bare lane with the train going through the crossing gates with the up and open lol

 

I am loving it so far, the 87 is a different beast to drive and I'm enjoying learning how to drive it. It's a total triumph.

There seems to be an awful mess at the Carlisle station! Have found some leaking urinals too. That is unacceptable!

Apologies if this is a stupid question but do the limitations relating to 8th Gen consoles also apply to users running the sim on the XBOX PC version?

 

You get the actually playable version, hardly "punishment".

 

Did they fix the full UI to get rid of the barber pole on passenger loads yet?
If so I might have to buy this asap. Still not installed TSW5 beyond the training centre because of that.

 

Nope, its still there.

 

The game can detect between a next gen console and a last gen console so it should be able to tell you are playing from a pc

 

Just completed the Class 87 introduction, and thankfully it’s served its purpose and I reckon I could take it for a spin on the main line. It sounds awesome - the rheostatic breaking, the cooling fans, the hum.. awesome. Nice too see some alternative liveries already appearing on the sharing hub too!

 

The fact that you can spend a penny at some of the stations is kinda wild
JT once again goes way way above to deliver something special.

The attention to detail is staggering, it is a brilliant route, its just as good as Blackpool Branches, if not better, a bit of stuttering now and again and a few odd things I have found, but this is some route, the graphics are brilliant, JT you have upped the bar even more. You have done an incredible job.

 

If you are installing the game directly on your PC from the Microsoft Store, you get the PC version of the game with no limitations.
If you are running it on PC via XBox Game Pass cloud streaming, it will be running on Series S hardware, so you will get the limitations of the Gen9 Series S build.

Is there any update on getting the circle back in the winter patch maybe?
I don't recall if Matt or anyone responded to the previous posts about it.

 

I am not aware of any response. For all I know, DTG might still think the circle is in the game.

 

Of course they haven't. They only response if they think it'll make them look good.

 

Played it to day on Playstation. Looks good but found some annoying things when running a timetable Morecambe service. Bare Lane level crossing gates open just after I locked the doors for departure, signal remain at green though and car drive thru your unit. Also tried spawn a test train from Morecambe to Heysham and can't get on to the Heysham Line. Get Denied Check switch when trying to pass signal at danger , but route has been set.

 

Have you sat down in the gents at Morecambe ? An unusual aspect to game play

Safe to say the Barber pole isn't going away anytime soon

 

Whats the point of having liverys from the creators club when you can't use it in the consist editor. It doesn't show any of the liverys from the CC for the Class 87 in the consist editor. And its even forbidden to name it Class 87!!! Am i missing the joke or whats going on?

 

"Class" anything can't be used, because the Naughty Words algorithm detects the alternate word for "donkey" in it.

On PS5 the BR 101 uses one button for two different things. Arrow up changes the gear up and buzz the guard. So everytime you change a gear up you also buzz the guard. Thats just stupid
