Anyone purchased the Xbox version but can only see the class 87, no other stock and no timetable? Do I have a duff purchase etc?
It’s Xbox one S I believe but can’t see even see the rail tours with Scotsman despite me having nearly all the UK add ons?
For Scotsman to appear, you also need the Jubilee from Spirit of Steam. The Jubilee is the original loco for that railtour and Scotsman is the substitute.
The One S is a last gen/8thgen console and doesn't have the full timetable. This was mentioned on countless articles and videos. Any rolling stock you own can however be used in free roam mode by spawning it in, however the timetable on the 8th gen is literally the 87. Again both DtG and JT have mentioned this in articles.
It was announced before the route released that Xbox One and PlayStation 4 would only have the 87 services owing to hardware restraints.
It amazes me how people think that 10 and 11 year old hardware should run the latest releases with no problems or comprises.
I’ve never thought this if this was directed at me, apologies if an innocent enquiry looks dignified.
Unfortunately, you aren't: https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/important-disclaimer-for-over-shap-for-gen-8-players.87148/ 5 days ago: Roadmap: I wouldn't say countless. As far as I'm aware, the full scale of the Gen 8 cuts were only properly told to us during the livestream and then in only one article that was released four days before release. Indeed, Gen 8 cuts are not mentioned at all in the release day article. The roadmap hinted that there would be cuts, but did not specify the extent of them. Normally, DTG are quite good at communicating Gen 8 cuts in advance of release. On this occasion, for whatever reason, it wasn't communicated as effectively.
I'm afraid I'm not well versed in the Xboxes. Is the Xbox One S part of the Xbox Series S, or is it part of Gen 8?
Thats Microsoft's fault for their inane naming system. Gen 6: Xbox Gen 7: Xbox 360 Gen 8: Xbox One, Xbox One S (same as One but later revision with slimmer design), Xbox One X (higher powered version of the One) Gen 9: Xbox Series S (lower powered, fits into Gen 9 but is more akin to a Gen 8.5), Xbox Series X (top end, equivalent to PS5) Sony goes for a much more logical naming system: PS1, 2, 3, 4, 5
