Burned Up Heritage Locomotive

    Ouch.

    To those unwilling to watch - Amtrak 161, the Phase 1 heritage P42 unit had a big fire and will be scrapped.
    No report of the locos next to it (another P42 and a Charger) suffering damage, hopefully just minor heat shenanigans if any.

    Happens though, whether idling is to blame (judging by the Charger lights being on) or simply some battery mishap while entirely offline, doesn't really matter.
    I agree with the comments, another unit can always be wrapped.

    Screenshot competition theme would be a fitting memorial.
