If you have PS5 Starter kit only, even if you don't buy the Pendolino this month, if you own Suffragette line then you can run your 710 into Euston from Watford Junction in the timetable layer starting out DC. I like runs into Euston myself, for sentimental reasons, so a few more in the time table were welcome. The same can be said for TSW2 users new to TSW5, as their tube stock also have some short runs along the 4-track on their overground stretch just west of Euston. Not new, but with WCML South there is new traffc to see. On my Steam PC i added only Flix Train to TSW5 as i run my own scenarios. If DTG add the alternate run to Hanau, i'll likely add in Kinzigtal. I splurged on Deluxe TSW5 for PS5 so Xbox and Steam have to take bits-n-bobs as they come along.
If you have the starter edition then you need to purchase WCML separately, it does not come with any routes. The Pendolino makes no difference to other trains being able to run on WCML. The 72 stock is not layered from Bakerloo Line, it’s included with WCML. Purchase of Bakerloo Line or TSW2 is not needed for the layer.
I just got the Deluxe edition of TSW5 on my PS4. Do you need the PS5 to drive the class 710 to Watford Junction, or can you do it on the PS4 because it is showing up on my PS4 that I can't drive the 710 on the West Coast Mainline South, and this is the same issue for the London Underground Tube Stock?
The PS4 version has a super limited timetable unfortunately. You’re going to need a new-gen console or PC for the full timetable.
I upgraded to the PS5 about 1.5 years ago and the difference in TSW is spectacular. I even made a post here back then describing my excitement. You’re in for a treat next week
