Consist Clash

    good morning I'm building a standard scenario on Berlin wittenberg but I get the error of the triangle consist clash, that is there are many trains ai that logically travel on the same track at a distance of 5 minutes, how can it be solved thanks

    I thought Consist Clash was where a number of vehicles/locos had the same number?
    Or is that something different?

    in what sense the same number of vehicles?

    Isn't that about placing them? When there are two trains with a driver in the same signal block, it complains.
    I'm not sure about free roams (no instructions) but when they want to move, the editor isn't particularly smart about figuring out that by the time the second train moves, the first will be gone. Somewhat reasonable as the first might not move, in case of getting blocked.

    I've seen two classic workarounds, one is to spawn them from portals (deprecated) the other is to fill a yard with them, like on Koblenz-Trier. I recall someone extending Falmouth Branch for a similar purpose, to allow running several trains in to Truro, instead of lining them up close on the entry track.

    Also, it's really only a problem if you run E2E2E (back-forth) scenarios, or wildly unstable timetable. Typical scenarios just place trains along the entire route and they are running only a short section while the player is passing by. It can definitely look funny when they are all stationary.

    I'll try to understand, now I've tried my activity and I've seen that the trains pass regularly and go into the portals and then disappear so maybe it's not an error but is it a warning?

    Triangle is generally a warning, yes.

    It is a warning of a potential disaster, so it is worth eliminating. The editor will tell you which are the consists concerned. All should ideally be separated by a signal. You can always add a scenario specific AI signal:

    As in you have more than one wagon with the same number.

    grazie per le risposte, ho fatto partire il traffico AI molto distanti tra loro e il triangolo è scomparso, sicuramente è l'unico modo, tipo farli partire dai portali, ma ho usato le stesse locomotive classe 101 Blu e mi ha fatto addirittura dare il triangolo nel secondo servizio creato ieri, poi ho spostato il treno AI di due stazioni distanti e il triangolo è scomparso, ora devo definire lo scenario con altri due traffici, vediamo come va a finire.
