As we have been requested not to reply in certain subject threads, and some seem to have their own personal subject threads, thought I would start mine so I don’t have to wade through everyone else’s posts. Cant decide what would be better value in black Friday sales. Either get the AP packs to see if it improves TSC graphically, Or Go back to the dark side of TSW5 and get the DLC needed for the excellent looking JT Over Shap route.
Not sure what "Wmr" means. Unlike TSW, TSC has such a vast amount of content that you can't give a general recommendation, other than the AP Sky. It totally transforms the whole game, because imho correct lighting is the most important thing. Just check the "Train Simulator Classic Screenshots" thread in Creation Centre subforum. AP do what DTG haven't done - continue developing the game (to be fair though DTG did a lot under the hood to improve stability successfully). Looks way better than the blurry overexposed (stuttering) TSW UE4 rubbish (that imho is long past its peak and is troubled by crashes and bugs more than ever). And unlike TSW showing the same artificial clouds each time, with the AP Clouds pack you get hundreds of photorealistic skies, making TSC a much more immersive world to me. So I only can give this recommendation - the rest depends on your interests (country / traction). I am currently using the sale to pick up all the nice vintage Marketplace coach packs from MatrixTrains so I can play all of Highball Simulation's great Workshop scenarios It's just not like TSW where everyone is playing pretty much the same content. In TSC, each of us has their preferences, you could also explore the freeware scene and just purchase the required DLC for that, there's hundreds of freeware routes to discover, and in many of these more time and passion has been invested than in commercial DLC. Browse the forums. TSC is the definite train simulator in the end. Got 31 Scenarios for the workshop Swindon - Stroud route to play now... The game offers more than you will ever be able to play. The choice is yours - in TSW you are wating for stuff to come, in TSC the stuff's waiting for you to pick it up.
