Hi. I found a timetable issue on FTF I have installed TSW 5 with, inter alia, the following DLCs on my PS5: Frankfurt-Fulda Niddertalbahn and LGV Mediterrannee. When playing the game, I have noticed that there are no 628 VR visible when the LGV Mediterrannee is installed in parallel. After uninstalling the LGV DLC, the 628 appeared at Frankfurt. When re-installing LGV, they disappeared again. I am not sure what causes this.
Two screenshots of the screen at platform 21. Same time, same place First with only Niddertalbahn installed but not LGV. Second with Niddertalbahn and LGV installed. Why can't Niddertalbahn and LGV coexist peacefully? Please help.
Yes, it is really strange. And it's not enough to uncheck tgv in the layer selector to make the RB 12 layer appear, you need to uninstall the route.
Exactly. I literally tried everything. Uninstalling Niddertalbahn, LGV and even Frankfurt-Fulda, re-installing them in a different order. Nothing worked. LGV disables the RB12 layer as long as the DLC is present on the PS5, period.
It seems to be a console only problem, maybe layers are now also limited on the PS5?! I can't imagine that this is necessary on PS5.
Since when does the TGV even appear at Frankfurt Hbf? I thought that layer was initially broken, did it get fixed post-release?
Please correct me if I am wrong, the layer was only empty for a short time and the TGV is not the authentic TGV that would run in Germany, although it looks the same. The power system doesn't fit either, which is why it can't be driven and only serves as an AI. I have not yet checked whether the AI can drive or move it. I found a post by Matt from September about this.
I only saw the TGV today for the first time. Not sure if I missed an update or was at the wrong place at the wrong time before.
I just checked and the problem persists despite the update also in Version 1.00.17. Please, please, please, DTG, can you please sort out layering issues once and for all with the next update. It is a bit frustrating for people like me who have upgraded to Gen9 to have all the layers. It would be nice, in fact, to have all the layers. Thank you.
I can definitely see both the TGV and DB BR 628 layers here on PS5, they both appear on the PIS. Perhaps this has already been fixed, or a very specific combination of add-ons that you happen to have is responsible for the issue.
Yes, that is what I suppose. I reinstalled the game and downloaded only FTF, LGV and Niddertalbahn. Then both appear. If I download every DLC I own, it somehow kicks out the 628 again. It is really weird. I will try all different combinations and see if I can find the DLC that causes the problem.
OK, so having done some more research by deleting and re-installing different DLCs, it has become clear that Frankfurt-Fulda seems to have an issue with Left Rhine and with the BR101 Expert. - having installed Left Rhine removes the 628 AI. - the BR 101 Expert removes the TGV AI (at least in expert timetables) - BR 101 Expert has some other issues, such as only being able to select the 101 Expert and some other locos (e.g. the Flixtrain Vectron but not the 411 or the Railpool Vectron) and the Wirtheim red light problem.
For the record, I have Left Rhine installed and the 628 still shows up for me. I don’t have the Expert 101 add-on, though.
You are right! Thank you! Deleted all content and installed LFR and LGV alongside as the only DLCs. So it must be some other combination. This freaks me out somehow. I will keep trying.
So, after installing the DLCs one after another, it turned out that, apparently, Left Rhine, LGV Mediterrannee and the BR 218 together make the 628 disappear. If the 218 is not installed, Left Rhine and LGV are not a problem. That is one complex issue, I would say. In terms of the Expert 101, I have noticed that the Expert 101 timetable train selection menu changes after a certain number of DLCs installed (I have not counted them, but at some point it tips over). I hope that this gets fixed with the next update to the 101 Expert timetable (together with the missing TGV and the Wirtheim red light problem).
li150special, I haven’t checked on my PS5, but here’s a thought that just occurred to me. Given that we still work with only 64GB of DLC mounted, could it be that with everything installed, we hit that limit again?
I think that is definitely a plausible explanation for the BR 101 issue. With regard to the 628, I have installed all other German DLCs without the 218 now and it is still functioning as desired. So maybe a combination of several factor.s
I Didn’t even know the BR628 was layered into Frankfurt-Fulda as I used to not know they layer into Hamburg-Lübeck, my BR628 are missing there as well on PS5… Also the BR218 hasn’t returned as playable for timetables in Frankfurt-Fulda. It’ being a while now that I issued tickets explaining that layers are fucked, at least on PS. I’m sorry if I may sound rude but this is straight up missing payed content and it should get priority over everything, people need to wake up!
I can say that the br628 does layer for me at frankfurt hbf and i own every german dlc except for the expert 101 semmering and salzburg and i alos own the lgv dlc so i think dtg fixed the issue without it even announcing it and yes i am on PS5
Just in case anyone is wondering. No, the update has not resolved this. TGV+218 means no 628. Which means no Pfälzische Ludwigsbahn for me, thank you.
the weird thing is ive recently noticed the br628 does layer onto the br111s timetable for frankfurt fulda but not on the original 1
The 628 should basically layer onto all timetables. The problem is that if you have the 218 and LGV Méd installed it disappears. In some other constellations, it might, too.
