Hi All, I purchased the Wessex Mainline extension from Seam (Southampton to Salisbury), in the sale. Everything is running nicely and I'm having fun with this route. However, when i drive the class 159, there is an alarm goes off which I cannot cancel? Tried the usual supects, Q and E, to no effect and searched the manual for this unit but there is no info anywhere. Looked even on JT's site to no avail. I was wondering if any of you good people on here might have any ideas as to to do. It just seems to trip for no apparent reason! Regards brummie
Hi Spikee, yes I believe it is their one, but managed to solve the problem thanks. See my previous post.
Some of the DTG / RSC / Kuju stock, did use Numpad enter to acknowledge the vigilance but I don't remember which now.
It is probably the Dovetail one; the Wessex Main Line on Steam comes with the DTG SWT 159 that they released as a bonus for the NSE 159 pack.
More likely a modded InputMapper. I've never come across a british engine requiring me to use the NumEnter key. I think K-Trains are using it as SiFa. DTG are also always using Q and E. My right hand is always softly resting over the brake keys.
There were some DTG trains that used numpad enter for the DVD. The Class 360 annoyingly couldn't have it turned off, so those not using a keyboard with a number pad couldn't drive the train.
Fair enough then. Indeed the 360 uses NumEnter as Vigilance reset. An obscurity and unergonomical as you have to move your hand away from the brakes. That was one of the first things I've modded, just checked the original mapper:
