I would like to see in the game more diesel locomotive routes that are located in open areas with deserts and steppes. In TC CLassic, there are a huge number of cool American routes. It would be great to see updated routes from the previous part or new ones - with steep passes and mountains.

Some of my most-wanted American routes:
-Marias Pass: Shelby-Whitefish and Kalispell, MT; Marias Pass is a former GN/BN route in the mountains of western Montana. The line skirts the southern end of the famous Glacier National Park. Locos to include: C44-9W, ET44C4, GP39-3 rebuild (formerly GP30s/GP35s), GP60/M-3, Amtrak P42DC and/or ALC-42 Charger (preferably) w/ Empire Builder Superliner consist

-Stevens Pass: BNSF's former GN/BN line through the Cascades Mountains in Washington State. This route has a lot of cool stuff, including fantastic mountain and forest scenery, long, heavy freight trains, Amtrak's Empire Builder, and the coolest thing: BNSF's unique Wichita, KS-Renton, WA Boeing Fuselage Trains. That's right: airplanes carried by trains! Locos for this route: same as Marias Pass suggestion; also, the 1st solo run of the ALC-42 Chargers for Amtrak were done on this route.

-Santa Fe Raton Pass: This is one of the steepest rail lines in the US. The Santa Fe's Raton Pass has 3% grades over the mountains of Colorado and New Mexico. Locos to include: C44-9W, C40-8W/C41-8W, B40-8/W, GP60/M/B, SD40-2, SD45-2, SD45, SD75M

-SP Peninsula Corridor: SF-Gilroy: This would be a backdated version of the popular route in TSW and TS Classic. The SP version would also include the section of the line to Gilroy and more industries in the area. Locos to include (really good classic diesel power here!): FM H-24-66 Trainmaster, Alco RS-32, EMD GP9 Torpedo, and Alco S4

-Tehachapi Pass: Mojave-Bakersfield: This route would be set in the early 1990s. Both the SP and ATSF RRs shared trackage on this well-known route. Tehachapi Pass also includes the world-famous Tehachapi Loop at Walong where long freight trains loop over or under themselves. Locos to include: SP and ATSF SD45, SP SD40T-2 or SD45T-2, SP and ATSF GP60s

-WP Feather River Canyon: Oroville-Portola: The Western Pacific's famed Feather River Route offers great scenery, 1% grades (less steep than other mountain routes), lots of bridges, and some popular locations, including the Clio Trestle, Keddie Wye, and Williams Loop (similar to the Tehachapi Loop at Walong further south); locos to include: WP U30B, GP40/GP40-2, GP35, GP20, and F7A/FP7A/F7B A-B-B set for the California Zephyr; also BN or GN locos could be seen on the route in the 1960s-70s, so those could be added or included as well as the Quincy RR logging operations and interchange with the WP.

    -PRR or Conrail Horseshoe Curve: We have HSC, but we need Conrail or PRR diesel power; for Conrail: SD80MAC, SD70MAC, C39-8, C40-8/C40-8W, GP40-2, GP38-2, GP30, GP35, SD40-2, SD45, C30-7, U30C; for PRR: Baldwin Centipede, FM Trainmaster, SD45, SD40, GP30, GP35, SD7/SD9, GP7/GP9, Baldwin RF16 Sharknose A/B, F3 or F7A/B

I would absolutely love that. But unfortunately, the freight operators are being stingy right now. I really hope that they will be cooperative with DTG in the future, there is so much potential for great American freight based content on TSW.
