Would the class 08 layer in from the heavy freight dlc or tees valley dlc

 

DTG Liam really appreciate all the hard work you and all involved have done to get probably the most requested route in TSW at the proper state. I for one can't wait for it. again thank you.

 

Do you know what size the update will in gigabits

 

I will certainly be playing both and enjoying both. Different eras with totally different traction and also style of route - urban density v country intercity runs.

 

That comment could be seen in two different ways. I am seeing it in the 'normal' way, or if there is anyone from Norfolk here the less common way for you.

 

I do hope the headlights on the DB Class 66 get a fix in this update! Would be nice since they really do just look off. A bit dim.


Obviously not as significant compared to the huge improvements we’re getting elsewhere, but they do get kinda distracting whenever this locomotive passes by

Does anybody know if the font on the DC line stations will be corrected? The stations don't feel very Overground-y with the current fake font they use.

 

If a 92 would come then that would mean we'd get freight operations on SEHS (eventually)!!!!

Do DTG still have the DB license they can use for new content?

 

I'd imagine so since the Class 66 on WCML is the DB version.

 

I'd also like to know if this has been fixed, it feels really weird stopping at Overground stations with no TFL branding or the correct font.

So I bought this route on a sale yesterday, now… update when
Route already seems quite busy in terms of 350s and 390s but there is a glaring lack of overground services.
I hope the update will be soon

 

Hopefully we the update by the end of the week also is just container freight on this or does other types of freight run on this line but only get container freight and why does the class 66 wobble so much

 

The reason they're dim is because while the light source is there and the lens flare effect is applied, the actual texture of the light behind it doesn't change and remains off. Very obvious to see when you turn the lights on in daylight and I have no idea how this was missed in the first place, but Liam has said it's being fixed so all good in the end.

 

Now having seen that the 378 is coming, I'm wondering if this is what the 5 car 710s were standing in for. DTG Liam am I onto something with that or was it genuinely a new 710 subtype?

 

Why would they be a stand in? 378’s on the DC line are rarer than 710/2’s. Would be nice if they sub every now & then though.

 

It's supposed to, especially the LO and LU timetable.

I've visited London maybe a handful of times in my life and never been on Overground lines near to this region so I wouldn't know what stock runs where, the closest I have been is the underground section of Bakerloo.

 

Hopefully update comes next couple of days so looking forward to this

Early December is anytime between the 1st and the 10th, but could be as late as the 15th.

 

378's no longer run on the Watford DC/Lioness line. Haven't seen one on that route for about 2 years. They are just stabled at Wembley C fan sidings which is owned by LOROL. 378's stored here are for use on the North London Line, they can't get onto the East London Line at Highbury and Islington anymore as the transfer line is closed.

 

You definitely don’t see them that often at all but they were certainly still running in September, as I was on one from Watford.

I don’t think they need to have substitution enabled for AI, as even at 1% it would likely be too much, but player selectable would be nice.

 

If the 378 was able to be subbed into the DC line as a player service I would probably get the Mildmay line for that purpose.

 

Will the announce the up date or will just drop in

 

Yeah it should be a no-brainer to add it as a player-only option to both the DC line and the GOBLIN.

 

I imagine there'll be an announcement but possibly not before it releases in case there are issues, Leven branch on Fife Circle was released on the quiet and then announced.

 

Probably won't be fixed in time for the big update, but the traction motor sounds on the Pendolino don't loop very well. Very jittery especially around 30 to 60mph.

 

If I understand Liam correctly the Class 378 will be included in the Upgrade Pack as static stock, does this mean the North London Line will be released before the Upgrade Pack?

 

Not necessarily. The Cathcart Circle remaster came out before WCML South but it still came with layers for the WCML trains.

 

I suppose it depends if space is left in the timetable for it.

Not to much of a big thing for me. Looking forward to the HKAs. Nice little gameplay pack that'll add some variety to WCMLS.

What specific freight and static AI has been removed I wonder? (Again not really a big thing for me, more of a curiousity).
