On PC - I can relivery the Class 87 and have done a few variations. I cannot access the repaints in Formation Designer, Scenario Planner or Timetable mode. I can only access these repaints in Free Roam, which I do not use. Had to take pics in Free Roam just to give me screenshots in order to upload to the CC Hub! This also applies to the JT MK1 and MK3 coaches. No show in game! Want to run this little beauty out of Euston...
PS5 console The DSD isolation switch cannot be activated on a Class 47 loco .... It is not active at all when I hover over it with the cursor.
I don't know how it's meant to be... but it can be turned on on the Class 87 and it works..... and the Deadmenspedal is functional on the Class47. or rather it can be "stepped down"
I got you bro! XBOX Series S TIMETABLE: 0U04 Upperby Shunting (09:00) LOCATION: Upperby Depot Siding 4 Inverted or corrupted piece of track near the end of the siding. image uploader image upload
Also connfirmed on XBOX Series S LOCATION: Preston Platform 2 *** I also just checked Blackpool Branches and this bug also appears on that route. ***
The Class 101 doesn't have a door handle on the inside and there's no way to open it...is that a password?
Just a quick note as regards the stuttering and sound squelching. This does indeed appear to be a core issue as just had the same phenomenon on Sherman Hill. So not much JT can do about it other than put some peer pressure on DTG to sort out their b…dy game.
That's normal for UK slam-door stock. You have to open the window and lean out. These were the days before the Health & safety inspectors decided that people were incapable of opening train doors without getting themselves hospitalized.
You mean this one? It was a sneaky bugger to find. XBOX Series S LOCATION: Upperby Depot, unnamed sidings near shed. best images for websites image hosting api
The Rheostatic Brake Isolation switch in the Class 87 corridor has a misaligned hitbox. Also, it does not seem like it can be turned on again, once turned off. This switch is not mentioned in the manual, and neither is the Brake Selector Switch or Dimmer Switch. A brief description of these switches would be appreciated, even if their function seems obvious. A fix for the rheostatic switch would also be recommended.
XBOX Series S TIMETABLE: 6S83 Clitheroe to Gunnie (Part 1) (16:56) LOCATION: Northbound just past Lancaster station, approaching Morcambe Branch junction. BUG: Missing OHLE contact wires
XBOX Series S LOCATION: Tebay Goods Loop TIMETABLE: 6S83 Clitheroe to Gunnie - Part 2 (18:59) More inverted track found in the siding of Tebay Goods Loop whilst running the timetable service.
Its random, on either the br blue large logo or the scotrail livery youll get the type with plough or without. In freeroam you can just place it until the one apears. The livery matches the name and number of the loco! Its really nice there is even this one. Again, looking at the scope of this dlc and extra liveries, rolling stock etc, im glad ive got a dlc which went way beyond my expectations. My day1 purchaises go to devs which are able to achieve that.
Just wondered if there’s any chance JT could provide us with a list from the reported issues so far as to what they are working on and also what they see are the fault of the sim itself and therefore beyond their control to fix, such as some of the sound glitching?
Not sure if it's been mentioned, but did "First Generation Stopper" yesterday and my 101 ran empty the whole way. Even though passengers were on the platform, no one boarded.
Good idea. There have been a number of bugs reported here the JT haven't responded to. What you suggest would give some reassurance that we're not wasting our time reporting issues.
Rest assured me and the team are looking at all bugs on here and ones reported elsewhere but compiling a list of ones which we're working on would take time away from us working on said bugs as most are on the bug reporting app used internally.
I have to admit that even though I'm not a fan of English railways, I'm blown away by this map and I'll probably have to buy all the DLC...... Compared to the problems on the German maps, I'm happy here so far...so I'm waiting for it to start blurring my textures too So what I can't find yet is that there is no BR37 train + BBA wagons in connection with the activated BR37BBA layer. But it's possible that it will pass as AI sometime
I activated the Vans layer ..... with the Trans peninne map and the BR Heavy pack ... I have some Goods Train 7T57 there I guess ... and some shunting 0T57 ... but there is a couple 13 vehicle and the cars are not there. . and the Goods train is just a loco ... that's some kind of error in displaying the wagons I would say .....
(PC/Steam) Found these two of bent up hedges next to a white house near signal CE125. At the lime works (where the weathered Class 08 resides), there are two dump trucks on top of each other.
PS 5 when trying the currock collector scenario the game freezes me in the kingmoor head shunt when i click on the map to change the switches. I have tried this scenario 3 times now including today. i cannot report and accept this as it does not crash me to the black screen, so i have to switch off my PS5 and start again. i have also had a freeze in the service usuing the 08 shunter doing service i cant remember now, but it froze me in the upperby head shunt again when clicking on the map to change the switches
I think the biggest bug (that caused me the most frustration anyway) isn’t WCML route related it’s the constant crash to desktop that happens. I’ve lost 3 runs now with crash to desktop on Xbox Series S. happens in other routes as well too though so I’m guessing it’s a DTG not JT issue and therefore will never be fixed!
We're definitely looking into this but until then one thing I'd recommend testing is turning off all the AI only layers which are Blackpool South, Blackpool North DMU, Colne, Carlisle Newcastle, Carlisle Barrow, Kingmoor Wagons, Steamtown Wagons and Windermere. If this seems to help please let me know via DM on here as it would be very useful patch wise.
Seems a shame to be removing layers on a series S. On a different note, is the vigilance alarm firing off every min regardless of input into the train an issue or a feature of the 87?
I think they mean disable the layers (when on the train selection menu. click the Layers button at the top of the screen)
Wanted to ask if its possible to add Rivets wcl cl37 as substitution into the tvl cl.37 layer? (Same for Rivets red / black jubilee as substitution into the sos layer on preston carlisle) Both of those would add value to the gameplay as substitution
XBOX Series S LOCATION: Kingmoor Yard Sorting Sidings 30, 31 and 32 BUG: Inverted or corrupted tracks near the end of Kingmoor Yard Sorting Sidings 30, 31 and 32
XBOX Series S LOCATION: Kingmoor Yard Sorting Siding 25 BUG: Inverted or corrupted tracks. (I missed this one on my first pass of the sidings)
That's what I call "walking the extra mile". A specific livery, the weathered Class 08, done for just one, ONE although lengthy, timetable service with a lime stone loading facility. Great fun! Thanks for that, JT. What a masterpiece, this route.
Unfortunately disabling layers hasn’t helped. I completed a run but on free roam at Carlisle the crash to desktop occurred.
XBOX Series S LOCATION: Kingmoor Yard - Kingmoor Down Departure GF BUG: Track and OHLE mast are floating above the ground on Kingmoor Down Departure GF
Couple of observations… IMHO the pantograph arc effect illuminating the whole area and front cab windows is a bit overdone. Most pantographs sparks are quite small and not going to light things up that much. In the scenario Tap Changer, going back to the days when relief trains were a thing, it was usual for these to precede the train they were taking the loadings pressure off not behind. Also unlikely there would be sufficient Mark III sets to provide the passenger stock. More likely a rake of Mark Ones kept specifically for relief or excursion trains - quite possibly vacuum braked - which is why the game desperately needs some core blue grey Mk1’s. Also unlikely there would have been a spare 87 (which are air brake only), more likely an 81, 82, 83 or 85 or if lucky an 86.
Just on the last point, now we have a tap changer loco in game I think it is quite possible we will see the others appear before long. Possibly they’ll appear in some sort of AC legends pack?
+1 for pantograph sparking effect, definitely seeming overdone when seated in the 87 cab. Perhaps an error with occlusion.
We're rumored to be getting an 86 from Just Trains... but who knows? Personally, I'd love a class 85, as they did a LOT of heavy freight workings after the 86 and 87 kicked them off passenger work. By 1986, the remaining class 82 and 83 locos were relegated to ECS work at London Euston, so you wouldn't have seen them anywhere up North.
One other oddity - picking these up as I go on my first night run - surely the headlight would not extinguish going through a neutral section? Happy to be proved otherwise but would have thought these are run through the battery circuit(s) to provide a constant current.
