Creation Sharing 2024 München Augsburg Timetable [beta V0.9]

I should be more clear. I deleted the 0.4 version and added the 0.5 version. Only the default timetable comes up, there is no "choice screen".
Deleted 0.5 version and put the 0.4 version back in there. Start game, the 0.4 version is there next to the default.

 

Anyone else having this issue? I'll look into it this weekend, might be a DLC entry not properly configured...

Is there a S3 service with 3 train wagons?
Just asking out of curiosity as I would like to drive a service of S3 with 3 wagons once in a while.
A few years ago there were more S3 services with 3 wagons, now it's mostly or all 2 wagons I think.

 

Not at the moment. I am thinking of maybe adding one in the future, but it would require reworking how the sidings are used.

 

V0.6 is out - I should have spent more time doing course work than this... oh well.

Long distance rework means that if you are late to the regional/high speed line merge point at olching - you may lose your slot into Munich. This is so that there is no unnecessary hold up of services at this point. Previously, the order of services would essentially be hard-coded, so if you were driving an RB87 towards Munich and are behind schedule, you may have caused an ICE to wait stopped at the merge point which is unrealistic.

 

Maybe it has something to do with the freight or TGV that you added since version 0.4, since I do not own all german dlc and do not have TGV. Are those setup in layers so that the timetable is not dependent on them?

 

To help me identify the problematic layer, could you please identify what DLC you do have?

Looks like the issue is Hamburg Lubeck (HBK) - I probably didn't set up the DLC dependency for the freight properly. I'll see if I can get a fix out by the end of the week.

 

I have the problem that trains get stuck at like 16:00:00 and also the EC displayed as delayed

 

hebertar Can you check if V0.6.1 works for you? It worked on my end without HBK.

 

Unfortunately, it still doesn’t show up for me. Could it be because I am still on TSW4?

 

Potentially, maybe DTG updated the PC editor causing this issue.. or maybe through the disabling of electrification requirements which may not be TSW4 compatible? I honestly don't know... I'd say your best bet is updating to TSW5 free version and see if that does you any good.

 

V0.7: ICE T and BR 111 added, as well as some other small fixes here and there. Before running the simulation, I forgot to swap out the 146s from MSB to FTF *facepalm*. I'll include that in a minor update soon(ish)

 

Exam season means the next 2 weeks will be entirely focused on school work and minimal MAG modding... here's a small teaser of what I've been working on the last few days. Looking forward to getting back to it soon

Although I encountered one tiny little issue (with the mod, not the exams): The RB13 services from Augsburg to Ingolstadt can't be completed, since the corresponding platforms at Augsburg-Hochzoll are located just outside the map boundaries. I'd suggest turning them into AI only services

 

Hola - V0.8 is out (I couldn't wait until after exams).
If you want a service that shows you a good chunk of the updates in v0.8 - I'd recommend the BR425 - RB 87 Donauworth at 9:56 AM. You only need to drive from Hbf to Pasing - beyond Pasing is the same as v0.7 (unless I forgot about a change I made).

Launch of 3 BR218 services with one result - derailment at the start!

 

Why don't the trains to Bayrischzell/Lenggries/Tegernsee run with diesel railcars, such as the class 642? These lines are not electrified.
Furthermore, I find it sad that you can't travel to Augsburg with the class 111 and Dostos. The 111 often travelled to Augsburg back then. Especially during rush hour.

 

The 111 runs on RE2 & RE3 currently. You'll see them mainly around platforms 24-26. Finished exam 3 of 5... almost done

Known issue - DTG programmed the buffer to be located within the designated stopping areas, so AI services will drive through them... making it impossible to play any service departing said buffer. Looking to fix this in the next version by changing the go-to instruction.

I have not done any testing with other mods - I haven't changed anything (v0.7 -> v0.8) concerning the ICE services, except for adding virtual destinations. This should not affect how other mods perform, odd. Could be other mods clashing with the TT?

If you read earlier in this thread, you'll see that the route between Hbf and Donnersbergerbrucke is disabled - the only workaround possible is with an LZB-capable vehicle, which somehow the BR442 qualifies. The 642, and the RABe 523 both are missing that functionality, and therefore can't cross the signal approaching Donnersbergerbrucke. Unless DTG fixes MAG, the 442 will remain.
In 2024, Arverio operated the Desiro HC and Mireo on the regional line between Munich and Augsburg. I'm looking to add repaints eventually so there's that to look forward to.

 

That's very sad. We can only hope that a variant from the past will also come along. Because a 425 has absolutely nothing to do with Arverio. Because so much of the timetable is ‘unrealistic’ anyway. It would definitely do no harm to have the 111 running here.

 

0.8.1 is out and includes the following:

• Added freight from M. Nord to Laim
• Fixed BR 218 on RE4/RB40 services - previously shunting movements unplayable
• "ALEX loco switch" now playable directly from the timetable menu (RE25)
• Dispatcher improvements, including favouring faster trains over slower ones when both at crossroads.
• ICE1 no longer cold start - fixes pantograph not being raised in the previous version
• Added a handful of evening ICE services, and some shunting movements include coupling at the yard
• KWG is no longer required for the base layer of the game - the ICE1 is now in a separate layer.
• Updated some RE2/RE3 formations.
• Improved AI performance on Munich Hbf to Pasing runs to reflect actual timetable.
• Minor shunting location changes

The BR 423 | S8 Flughafen at 7:25 is quite a fun service with plenty of varying AI traffic. Feel free to share any services that stood out to you!

Hope you have been enjoying the holidays! I don't plan on including these changes in the near future for a few reasons:
1. Due to the very dysfunctional overpass, S7 trains from Hbf to Donnersbergerbrucke will all need a weird unrealistic workaround
2. This is very labour intensive and requires reworking most of the fluegelbahnhof operations, as well as reworking all S bahn timings
3. There is no PIS for S5 - so trains would be running around with blank screens or old S7 screens, not ideal.

Edit: Now thinking of it, I could use the FTF 423 for S5 services for the different PIS... but it doesn't address points 1 & 2

 

Hey, just a followup on that question, actually today I saw and rode an S3 that had three wagons today, so I guess they deploy them again.

 

This timetable mode is great! having so much fun with it. Just a suggestion tho. while it has inaccurate branding you could use the BRO 425 for the TT as it has dynamic PIS. similarly the KWG and DRA 442 have it aswell. could be changeworthy for that but I do recoqnize that it has its drawbacks. Curious what you would think of it

 

hmm, ill take a closer look, and maybe implement it in a future update - albeit a challenge, the diverse formation can be fun.
Speaking of, I might look to see if there are any 1x423 formations on the sbahn at night

I am planning on replacing the 442 with KWG, who's branding should still be appropriate for Munich. Regarding the 425 - I have something for the PIS in the works but I cannot give a completion date at this time.

 

Yes, I've seen some S8 services with 1x423 late at night/early morning, but I think they coupled to 2x423 at Ostbahnhof (don't remeber 100%)

 

Next update pending approval - added NJ and Westbahn liveries and other minor fixes.
Fun fact - AI cannot couple BR 218 to dostos, due to some sort of coupler incompatibility. Also fun fact - KWG 442 PZB and Sifa are missing sounds, so I have limited them to the BRB services passing through Donnersbergerbruecke. Rather have sounds than functional PIS (also you can't create a 4 car formation without a "Bluetooth" connection between carriages).

 

Not even if you use the Hamburg-Lübeck Dostos?

 

I tried a handful of different dostos, including HBK - it seems that the coupler incompatibility lies on the side of the 218 :/ as a control test, the FTF 146 couples to its dostos just fine

 

Glad to see the Westbahn is now in Munich. Can't thank you enough for your work on this route. Still one of my Favorites because of your fantasti mod.

 

next update will include two more repaints, release tbd - also, Freddie fixed his westbahn so now it should always appear in the timetable

Highlighted service of v0.8.4: RE 70 Munich in the BR 612 at 12:31 pm. A pretty cool drive with both new repaints to be seen upon your arrival at Munich Hbf. Enjoy

There is a bug with the TGV 9576 service, as soon as I start it says that the train has derailed

 

Bit stuck on why I cant see any other liveries than those with Default DLC? Sure I have downloaded all the correct pak files?

Hi, whenever I try and load a service with the Westbahn Flirt, I get spawned somewhere random as the Train is apparently not loading (my guess).

 

Did you also download the flirt expansion pack - listed in the requirements of both flirt repaints?

 

Yes, I have downloaded all requirements. I have also checked if I have missed any update, but everything was up to date.

 

What tends to help me with that problem (playing the SKA or RRO timetables with the 642 repaints) is to spawn the train and the restart the service. Although i never had issues with the Westbahn on HMA

 

Did you remove any old versions of the flirt mod?

 

It seems like I still had "FTS_Westbahn-Flirt" installed, even though I don't even know to what timetable that one belongs to.
