    Hi Jack,

What sort of service patterns would we see on this route?
Is there freight service? If so, is it only long haul, are there any yards for shunting, or are there any local deliveries that could be done?

service patterns are suburban, intercity and freight on this route (I was unable to find a timetable), according to wiki Freight services also operate frequently on the Great Eastern Main Line, with its easy access to the Port of Felixstowe.

This archive (pulled from Wikipedia sources) provides a good description of services in 2006. It seems the majority of services operate south of Shenfield, with substantailly fewer running the length of the line.

Do you think it would be permissible to cut the route at Ipswich (68mi 59ch), and include the Felixstowe branch (15mi 51ch) for primarily freight services, or would you want the full route even if it precludes any branch lines?

What vehicle(s) were most prolific on the line at the time period you are suggesting?
What vehicle would you want to come with the route?
Do you think the 313 or 314 in game could be adapted into a 315?

Would have no issue cutting it where you are suggesting as well as including the said branch.
I believe the 313/ 314 would be able to be used to assist in creating the 315 as it is part of the same family, the class 317 is also part of the same family and appears to of been the main suburban vehicle on the line.
I am aware it would be unrealistic to have all the rollingstock I am asking for so I would be happy with the
Class 86 & mk 2 coaches & DBSO cab car and a class 315 or 317 (I'm not overly picky), as well as at least one freight engine (unless if the 86 did the freight work), would like to see at least 3 train sets come with the base route.

    according to wiki
Class 312 were used on parts of the Great Eastern main line
Class 315 were built to replace the class 306 which ran on the line
class 317 were built to replace the class 302 and 312

if I had to choose someone to build it it would easily be Just trains.

Honestly at this point, don't know of the likely hoods of this route coming to the game especially on dtgs side, in the announcement of the mild may line they didn't even mention stratford being on the great eastern but they mention other mainlines. Dtg are clearly not too keen on anglia at all unfortunately
