looks bloody fantastic. the model is literally perfect. comes with 4 liveries as well. with the addition of the mk2 aircons and mk1 buffet cars JT is showing once again, they stand on business
Although I‘m not interested in UK stuff at all I really have to say: I‘m so jealous of you guys! I would love to have a producer like JT for Germany or Switzerland!! Only the fact they simply include 4(!!!!!) liveries shows how much effort is put into detail
I think it's safe to say that I'm about to have a falling out with my wallet... Looks absolutely fantastic, well done to everyone at JT!
The model looks really nice, I like we get the Brecknell Willis & Faiveley pantographs included in the pack too. The application of the IC livery looks good as well, it suites the 86 much more than the 87
Just a "simple" Loco DLC right ? Even with this, they going the extra mile and make multiple versions and neat little details. Even new wagon types. Why is this "impossible" to do for other developers.
The Preston Carlisle map made me move from Germany to England...I'm excited so far And the problems that appear on PS5 are practically absent on this map.....
It's going to be brilliant. And with both the MK2 air cons and a MK1 buffet you just know that not only will it be one of the best loco packs ever, but that it will make OldVern's day.
Absolutely over the moon with this. Such a double whammy of an announcement! It'll be such a good asset to WCMLOS along with those tasty Mk2s.
I've just realised, if Athena make their blue MK1s dual braked then we'll have almost the entire BR Blue coach range. Dual MK1s, early and later MK2s, and loco hauled MK3s. All that would then remain would be to fill in certain missing models within the three generations, like MK1 CKs or MK2 BSOs (If the 86 pack doesn't include those already).
I do know TSG and that their stuff is fantastic- I really love Niddertalbahn and especially the expert 101!! But JT seems to always bring it one step further with the rolling stock; yes, the expert 101 is the best loco in game- but on the other TSG stuff you get to see one loco in one livery. But yeah, I really love the TSG stuff and can’t wait to hear more from them- it’s just that I‘m a sucker for liveries (and my CC is not working properly XD)
North America, perhaps! I have this vain, perhaps misplaced, hope that DTG will surprise us with a new freight route during these festivities. But I actually think our only hope is an American version of Just Trains.
Yes we were out on a walk, only just got back in and I didn't get time while we were out to check the forum on the phone. My missus couldn't understand the big, big smile on my face.
Actually, the expert came in two Liveries, which i also liked a lot. Nonetheless i get your point completely but feel that quality wise JT aswell as TSG are top notch for TSW, and for me on a par, but approached different projects. Whereas TSG was more into Loco and Rolling Stock, JT brought whole Routes. The whole spectrum of the expert 101 is just above any train we've seen for TSW, same goes for WCMLoS in terms of all routes. Im just happy to have those two developers within the TSW franchise, hoping to see more of the content that puts quality first.
As a guy who grew up watching 86's and 87's belting through Crewe on the fast lines, I'm in my absolute element.
