I Like The New Mastery Monthly Challenges

Since the first of November there is a new kind of Mastery; so called monthly challenges. November was the first in this series. You have a number of tasks to complete; a number of timetables/scenarios, collecting some items, etc.
I must say that I like this new kind of Mastery very much. It gives me a purpose for what to do in TSW5. You can compare it with a very, very simple career mode; like A pilot's life in flightsimming.
What is your opinion about the new Mastery challenges?

 

Not for me. I'm here for the sim parts.

I actually quite like them. When they actually work.

 

Agree on the second part, getting any sort of Mastery to register as completed is variable at best.

 

Maybe if the rewards were better i'd do them

 

This 1000%. I don't do the mastery because it's honestly pointless and doesn't feel rewarding

 

I finished all tasks for the monthly mastery reward for November. So I suppose I'm eligible to get the reward (a decal). But I don't know where I can find it. It's not shown in the mastery rewards. Does anyone know where to find it.

 

I have taken a slight interest in the December one. Got the three scenarios done eventually after a couple of duds.

Now got to work on the mileage (which seems pretty easy TBH) and the AP which is a bit more of a challenge, in the process clearing the timetable runs which again seems low at only 5. Incidentally, Timetable trips done as part of the Journey do count as I established last night.

Should be fairly easy to finish it though, just wished the reward in return for the hook was something a. It more meaningful, like a £1 voucher off a purchase on the chosen platform.

i'm not a big fan of them, since i saw they were requiring me to do things in the training center

 

The monthly mastery challenge is pointless for me, it reminds me GTA Vice City when completing the game 100% you get this t shirt:

More seriously you earn more than that t shirt but for me the rewards are not that appealing, I’m using the livery editor and I like to replicate real liveries.

What am I supposed to do with a sticker with the month on it ? I thought we’ll unlock some special decals which for me is a good reason and reward to complete these challenges every month.

 

I have the same issue but with the five services. It displays 0 despite the fact I did over 20 this week. The other 3 tracked ok and it unlocked as soon as they were finished so I suspect it tracked them but just doesn’t display them.

I don’t really do it for the decal. I don’t use livery editor so it’s useless. I just find it a fun challenge when I can’t decide what to play.
